- The first major event weekend of season for Kubota High Limit Racing begins with a Friday prelim night for Shane Stewart's Heartland of America Showdown on May 3, 2024.
Championship leaders Tyler Courtney and Brad Sweet battle for the victory while Kyle Larson charges to the front after starting 12th.

Loved seeing this live being front row and getting dirt thrown at you well worth the 4 hr drive. Was super stoked meeting larson and kahne great guys
What a race this was
Excellent racing
Larson’s creativity while in a race car is insane to me the diamond line in 1&2 was perfect! I also loved the final pass for the lead no slider just a perfectly held line around the bottom! High limit races sprint cars and world of outlaws out here turning into the usac national midget series!

This race was amazing live. A huge thank you to the track prep crew - it was the best I have ever seen Lakeside Speedway.
Seriously, get out and support your local dirt track. If a major touring sprint or late model series comes within 2 hours it is well worth your time to take in great racing action.

Might have just been the playback speed on their video, wouldn't have done that live. Was annoying to watch though

It's the frame rate of the camera that makes it appear to be strobing... it isn't matching the cycling of the lights.
@zepplinrox3 nope it was the light. They have since fixed it.
The light was not really strobing. It just looks that way because of the video frame rate. Love the track with passing high, low, or anywhere in between!

Not sure what Larson found with 10 to go but good Lord. He wasn't moving forward at all and than all of a sudden he got shot out of a cannon lol. I was pulling for TC to win tho, love to see him do good, he's earned it

If Larson had started further up,things would have been different. Sweet and Sunshine are the most consistent and fast guys right now.

I love all racing high limit, world of outlaws, sprint cars, latemodels it dont matter to me love it all some of you "fans" are just drama queens yall make it sound like a 5 time outlaw champ had a hard time winning till he helped start a "less competitive" series i dont care what the series is called if the racing is good I'm down to watch

You watched last night’s race at Eldora? Lol that was just as good if not better racing. At least they have had a variety of different winners and a lot of really close battles. I’ve watched highlights of several “follow the leader” events from these guys already, and likely will see more in the coming events.
