- Finally I got a huge cam for the corvette. The new cam for the corvette is the cam motion titan 5 ls1 cam. The Corvette should made some pretty good power and most importantly have good CHOP!!!

Wow, I just have to say when it comes to you both, you are the first I have ever seen to actually tear an engine down and rebuild it concerning a Corvette! I also like how when you start a project you don't half Ass it and get er done right, I respect that Totally! Thanks for when I will have work done to mine I know exactly what I want to be done.

That duration is pretty big for stock compression...
It is but it’s not big enough to have concern of piston to valve clearance. Runs good and makes power where you want it
Awesome work guys! I recommend you replace those lifter trays since your already there. Seen lifter trays fail cause the lifter trays get old and the plastic breaks cause the lifter to spin in place and chew up the cam.
Let’s hope that doesn’t happen, the lifters we’re a nice tight fit in their original trays so they should be fine.
@@DAPerform Could be fine today, but not tomorrow. That's pretty much how it happens. If you go into the valvetrain again, just do it... It's cheap insurance for a known issue.

Maybe the paste on the magnetic oil drain bolt was valve lapping compound? Had the engine ever been worked on? How many miles on the car?
From what I could tell it was never broken into
