- ◼︎On my first day in Jakarta, Indonesia, I had the opportunity to explore a bit, and I must say, I didn't expect to enjoy it this much. I kicked off my adventure by hopping on a motorcycle grab to the vibrant M Bloc area, where I indulged in some delicious local street food, including spicy rice and fried chicken. The flavors were incredible! Later, I ventured to a nearby food market, where I couldn't resist trying a unique sweet snack consisting of Oreos and mozzarella - surprisingly tasty! While at the market, I had the chance to mingle with the friendly locals, sharing jokes and laughter. Before I knew it, we were having a spontaneous jam session, with me strumming the guitar and singing in front of my new friends. It was an unforgettable experience and a fantastic way to wrap up my first day in Jakarta.

You should go to PIK2 area while in the area if you want some food. Jakarta food are concentrated in Kelapa Gading Area, PIK2, PIK, Muara Karang, Sabang, and Pecenongan. Blok M there is only gultik, and it is only at evening. Pecenongan has the most street food.
Indonesian cuisines are split into multiple regions from where those food originated from. For example, Padang cuisines, you can find from Sederhana, kari Bundo, Minang Jaya, but the one I love is Pagi Sore. Makassar food, there is a Konro Soup in Kelapa Gading area. Manado, I love Sarang Oci. Beef soup, I prefer BabeTito or Ny. Afung. Kelapa Gading is also famous for its noodle street. Go to Kopyor Street at Kelapa gading Area. As Dessert, you might want to find sweet martabak. I love Pecenongan one. If you want some pork, try Medanese's Sagoli. Their Roast Pork is good.
