An iPad Air was on my list as well ! But I was put off by the pricing and (unfortunately) unlucky enough for all my apple products to underperform , plus I need to get a new laptop before heading off to university as the current one has battery issues, my sister needs one too (Online school kan ). I ended up purchasing a Samsung Tab S6 Lite and it hasn't failed me yet! It's a cheaper alternative to the iPad Air but does its job too ( In my case , note taking) . Hope this helps anyone looking to afford a tablet but put off by the price tag of some :(

Wish you can update about your experience with the ipad so far. I use an old ipad pro (2018) and planning to buy new one either pro or air but I like the air colour more. Just not sure whether air can work wonder like pro 😬 so far the blue and green air is really tempting and I don't really like face id incoveniency so my heart is all set for the air. I just have to convince my sister because she doesn't like air for some reason😭😭😭😭
