14:00 One thing I notice most people haven't really realized on Vecna is that you can mage hand through walls. You don't actually need LoS on the pallet to lock/lift it. You could've mage handed the pallet while mind-gaming the loop, timing it for right when the survivor wants to press the button so that they are stuck during the spell's animation as you close in.
Alternatively, time and angle the spirits so its a guaranteed hit on the survivor here. If you line up one of each of the 2 middle spirits (or any 2 spirits, you don't have to have the 6-spirits addon) such that one is on each side of the pallet and throw it as the survivor would want to vault they'll end up vaulting right into the spirit. But if they don't vault they have to crouch to dodge it, which gives you time to round the loop and swing to him them mid-vault instead. Its a lose-lose as long as Vecna times it right. On other types of pallets you can also use fly to land right in front of them over the pallet and body-block them from vaulting it. But in this particular loop the survivor would've just gone for the window after.
Any killer that isn't Vecna or a ranged killer or nurse? Cucked. This is an infinite window with a god-pallet, Behavior has yet again made a heavily survivor sided map.

D3AD, PLEASE NOTE: when a survivor is on death hook and is also in possession of either the hand or eye of vecna, you can execute them, like pyramid head or sadako! missed it at least twice in this video

@@Happy55547 I don't need to be used to this killer to see how shit a power is that for example picks up a pallet or blocks it for less than a doctor shock, a flight that is mostly just useful for traversing with a cooldown that is high enough so that a survivor unless completely deadzoned makes it to the next tile or a mediocre information ability. His ghosts are at most ok but have an INSANE cooldown and are easy to dodge.
And we're still talking about basekit survivors without the chest-items, the magehand basically become a liability if the survivor has the haste-effect item.
There's a reason jack of all trades is usually not a prefered playstyle and this killer currently absolutely encapsulates it.
Havent played the game for around 6 month and dont know if Ill ever return, but still watching every video here keep up the good content :)

Make the skeletons deploy faster and have the middle skeleton lower so u can get an undodgable skeleton for a skill shot

I've been wanting some kind of magic/spellcaster killer in this game forever. Never played DnD but this killer looks fun and might actually turn me into a killer main. Hopefully they buff him a little before he goes live though because the long delays after using everything seem pretty bad rn, and the skeletons being so easy to avoid is disappointing.
I miss the red on the map it made it so unique

They need to increase the movement speed for his hand ability or in the very least reduce the cooldown for switching from it/to it.
Honestly it provided you very little benefit from what i could see.
Also, the skeletons are very difficult to hit with already and im sure as players get more used to playing against this killer, they will just crouch dodge them immediately at higher mmrs.
Which really just makes this an M1 killer with a slightly worse teleportation, and an orb to make up for that.
All of that being said, i think he looks like quite a bit of fun to play, simply because you have more options than most killers, but in a competitive frame, i think he is probably B tier at most, and after a few months of back to back vecna killers, he will shrink even lower.
If they made the skeletons impossible to crouch dodge or even just aim-directional, and decreased the time to use his hand ability or switch away from it, i think he would be a viable contender for an A/S tier killer position.
Just my opinion though...

I think the skulls needs a bigger hit box and is unavoidable. Cause it’s completely useless if they can always be avoided by crouching.

Been hearing very mixed reactions about him. Some say he’s the best, others say he’s too weak.
High skill ceiling
He's set up to have a high skill ceiling, but his skill floor is also too high right now due to how safe they were in making his numbers. For the most part, all his different slowdowns really hamper his gameplay to a standstill. Being that said, he's due for some major rebalancing and possible add-on changes.
The cool downs should be reduced and he should be able to angle the skeletons up and down. Crouching them to just easily dodging them is a complete joke lol. Though the purple sphere is definitely his best one and that's probably gonna have it's size reduced

I still dont really understand what Rank 1 gameplay even means. its not like matchmaking is based on rank or if rank dictates skill. half the people you play against on the ptb arent even playing to win so i dont think its a just representation of vecnas current strength

I think the most useless part of his power is pulling up pallets again so survivors can hit you again. Why would you use that instead of destroying the pallet and by that destroying the loop for the low cost of like two seconds (what no mindgame even can be faster as).
From what I see there, he puts them back up faster than you demolish them. I think if you use it properly, you will have an advantage.
@@cryptocrypto8736 Any mindgame takes 30 seconds average. Getting stunned and destroying the pallet costs less than 10s, the survivor is usually still close to you and you create a death zone.
As a killer, you should always have them stun you with the pallet (or else you respect the pallet, which costs time) and then destroy it, taking advantages off the survivors for the price of mere seconds every chase.
The problem with that power is easy: It costs you roughly the same amount of time at that loop, but leaves the survivors with that pallet.
Like scamper and mindgames, the hand is a price to pay, not an advantage (looks cool, but ultimately loses to stun + break).
Additional: You can even have perks that activate upon being stunned. It might not be meta, but try it out: Don't mindgame, get stunned, destroy the pallet, watch where the survivor goes. You'll have an easier time once those pallets are quickly gone.
The hand is just a survivor perk - one that's much better than people think.

He is weak, he has big cooldowns for all his spells(50s), and big slowdowns after using them, plus, his only spell that inflicts damage has a small hitbox and you can crouch under it. All that together with the addition of accessories for survivors to directly counter all his spells. So how is the killer not weak is the real question here.

You never really know which mmr you are in. Prestiges say nothing about the mmr and player skills. Entitled killer mains always believe they're in high mmr because when they get matched with high prestiges. And they think it means you are playing against the best survivors possible when it could be just mid or even low mmr.
