- Showcasing what I would argue is the best singularity build you can run at the moment, utilizing the extra speed from soma family photo alongside rapid brutality to make chases incredibly difficult for the survivors, as well as some obvious gen pressure perks to help keep the snowball alive as well.

It's nice seeing a video on singularity. It's a killer I really *want* to like, but every match I play as them is absolutely miserable. So being able to live vicariously through videos is the only way I can get a singularity fix.
Hes really fun its just like ohtofu said there is so much micro managing to him its easy to lose track and therefore lose the game
And hes even harder on mobile lol😅
But when you get the hang of him, Singularity feels amazing to play

Singularity is so well designed and underappreciated. BHVR did a great job with him😊 It’s a shame he’s not played more. Great gameplay tofu!
He could use some quality of life changes, and maybe a few small buffs as well, to make him less dependent on soma family photo. Then more people would maybe play him.
But his skill ceiling is also just very high, which is why not that many people use him. I do agree that design wise he is fantastic.
Im kinda glad hes not popular. Singularity games are a grind. Fun every once in a while but not every other game.
All he needs is basekit soma and he would honestly be close to perfect
It’s because he’s extremely map dependant and getting a bad map for him is really miserable
I think it's outragious the fact that OhTofu put this video together and NOT A SINGLE PERSON mentions in the comment the Age of Empires Theme that plays in the background during the intro and explanation. Am not even that old I swear!

tofu out here securing jeans. I absolutely LOVE Rapid Brutality on Larry, it's so good. Insane when using Soma Family Photo, or can be sorta used as a substitute if you're out of purples.
I love the mix of a build showcase and killer tutorial, especially for more complex killers like singu!

Unbound is also surprisingly good on singularity for mobility while in overclock, by the time overclock is over you then have haste from unbound if you can’t land a hit for Rapid brutality

Wow, I just played vs the survivors in your first game yesterday.
I actually find ball glove a little bit overrated. At first I thought it'd be one of his best add-ons but after using soma with and without it for a few hundred hours or so on singu it feels like using it to negate Soma's downside feels more detrimental than beneficial, but I've always felt that the downside that most think soma gives with the shorter overclock is more of an upside. It gives you more consistently to get out of overclock and immediately follow up tp to get as much value from rapid+soma combo as possible and helps a ton with being able to tp over windows and pallets without having the longer overclock (while yes overclock gives quicker vaults and breaks it's often better to manipulate the tp location and tp onto the same side)
i personally prefer the aura reading addon of the crew manifest, it can give me a really good edge on mindgames when i know exactly where they are
I'm going to have to agree, the more people slipstream the longer overclocked lasts anyways. I would even argue the addon that gives blindness is better with Windows being the most used perk in the game it's going to get value.

according to perks-those are the best for singularity,you can change rapid for fearmonger and the brown addon for the green one who give you exhaust and you wont care anymore for lithe,sprinth burst or dead hard,if you want to stick to this build-change the brown addon for 1 of the iri ones which give you 8 sec aura reading .

I don’t generally like to stack a bunch of slowdown on a killer, I feel like going for infectious fright and forced hesitation instead of pain res and corrupt. It is a more aggressive build it also punishes people who try to EMP for someone in chase. Also they have great synergy with rapid brutality
Singularity is so good. People said he was so hard, but the first 4 matches I played him I got 12 hook games. Definitely an underrated gem. His base power is actually deceivingly good if you can micromanage well.

Great games with the Singularity love! Personally, I love the Cocolatte oppressive build: Lethal Pursuer, Rapid Brutality, Surge, Batteries Included (formerly Sloppy Butcher pre-nerf) w/ Soma Family Photo and Denied Requisition Form which allows for chases immediately and delays the amount of time that EMPs can be retrieved. With Batteries Included, you get 5% Haste 12 meters within any completed gens and it's great on indoor maps!

My favorite combo on Singularity is +2 Biopods with Hex: Plaything. I put pods above their totems, and by four hooks I basically have permanent stealth.

I remember last time I played this is when wesker came out. Now I played a week ago and it’s all unknowns. I haven’t even gotten to play against this killer.
I think singularity is underrated because of the high skill top and skill floor
Singularity came out during the "3 gen jockeys" (when knight, skull merchant and Singularity came out) back then, it seemed like every killer they were releasing was just heavily focussed on gen defense and that kinda turned me away from Singularity originally as i didnt want to play a killer who seemingly was only good at defending gens. Overtime, i realized he could do so much more and have potential to be a great defense killer AND great chase killer. Now i main Singularity pretty much, and whenever I just want to have a fun game, I make "ultimate chase Singularity"
Singularity is so damn fun but you have to solve Rubiks cubes with one hand while speedrunning Mario 64 with the other to do something Nurse does by pressing a button

I wonder how effective this build would be with Save the Best for Last since it decreases your successful hit cooldowns for every token you have?
This build is really strong. Not only does rapid brutality synergize with singularity, but also with pain res. Another good user of the rapid perk is clown by the way.

in my opinion singularity doesn't work with corrupt intervention, it gives survivors more time to seek for EMP, maybe hex: ruin can have better value

Kinda, yeah. While in Overclock, the Singularity is immune to pallet stuns, he just gets slowed down instead of stunned.

The biggest tip I learned with Singularity: You don’t have to click in the cameras. I’ve been mashing the mouse button to get it on full lock, and felt so good timing it well every single time…until I realized you literally don’t even need to click once you’re in the camera, even to teleport. Perhaps others are smarter than me
