In this video I take my Kawasaki Vulcan 650 on some 0-60mph runs to show how quick it is. Skill of the rider to go from full stop plays a huge role in the 0-60mph times and I am not professional so the times I got are definitely higher than the 4.2 second 0-60mph times found by actual professional testers and motorcycle websites. Nevertheless, the bike feels very quick and is a ton of fun! Hear that exhaust roar!!

I saw SRK cycles do it 4 secs. That thing can really scoot!
Yea same lol it's spec says 4.2 seconds but I suck at the initial take off and I guess I should redline in first 2 gears to hit the speed instead of going to 3rs gear..still learning to be a drag racer 😂😎
If you shift without using the clutch and change gear around 6000 rpm, you will do it a lot quicker👋

Congrats on the license! I'm not sure exactly what you are referring to? I have a throttle lock cruise control device on the throttle side of the grip, is that what you mean? I also have videos on the install of the mirrors if you looking for that. Good luck on getting the bike you will love it! Ride safe!!
@@Kamdorian thanks man! And oh I'll look for the install video! I mean I've never seen mirrors that hang from under the handlebars instead of being on top.
@@TacoIsLife ohh yea there's a lot of options for hanging under the bars. It does reduce visibility in back a little bit and if you have wide shoulders and big arms it will block the view even more. Good thing about these is you can easily rotate them to be mounted above the bars

Hey man, I live in Australia and just turned 18, I want to buy this bike as my first bike once I get enough money 😅 and mod it the same way you did yours. Of course I still need to get my bike license and stuff but how do you feel about this as a first bike? I do have some riding experience as I used to have a suzuki dirt bike, however that was only about 125cc so I’m not all that experienced, especially for driving on roads. I’d love to hear your thoughts and thanks for all the videos you make on this bike ❤. (I do plan to use this bike for daily commutes and whatnot so keep that in mind)
This is a great first bike, it's light so easy to handle for beginners and has plenty of power to grow into! We have similar riding journey I also learned first on a 125cc dirt bike. Then I stopped riding for like 15 years then I got my license and bought the CSC SG250 as my first bike to get more comfortable riding on the road. Mastered the bike in 1 month then I got a Honda shadow 750, loves the exhaust on it but otherwise was too bulky and slow for me (also old model 2007) so then got the Vulcan 650 and have no complaints! Just take your time after you get your license don't pull that throttle too fast until you get more experience. Also great bike for longer commutes, does very well on highway at speeds between 50mph-80mph very smooth ride just get an upgraded seat cushion. They come to US with no restrictions right?
I think no restrictors on the engine but I am not sure. There might be a top speed restriction but pretty sure no restrictors on acceleration.
@@Kamdorian you can check the throttle at the engine, there might be a screw holing the throttle to fully open

Instead of flexing your entire wrist every time you come on and off the throttle just roll it in between your fingers.

Need to get the revs up, then slip the clutch. You are bogging the engine down.
