Hi Brian. New subscriber here, I’m new to MFT and indeed practically new to photography after a (very) long absence. I’ve scoured the internet and CZcams for helpful content but have only subscribed to 3 channels, yourself, Emily (Micro Four Nerds) and Matti Sultano. Thank you for your own content. You are right about Emily though, an absolute joy. If she created content about knitting fog I’d still watch it!

Watched her for several years, brilliant! David Thorpe is another excellent site. Sadly he is no longer with us but his family has allowed the site to continue. His equipment reviews are outstanding.
They are. I did a tribute video to David when he passed and received the loveliest message of thanks from his family for doing so. I was totally humbled. I still go back and reference his videos from time to time, they were so good.

Brian, this video is a nice one, as you share your good will towards Emily, and I agree with you that Emily has a natural talent for making camera reviews a fun thing to watch. Her personality really does shine, and while I am a relatively new subscriber to her channel and yours, I see a common trait that got me to subscribe to both of your channels: You both have a very warm and friendly personality.
Each time I begin to watch your videos, I enjoy the intro music, your smiles and facial expressions, and your “roll title” intro gesture, and throughout the videos you produce I see a very genuine photographer who loves his gear and craft, with a talent for sharing knowledge. You too, do a great job of presentations, because of your personality, which like Emily’s, makes each of your videos entertaining and enjoyable. Keep up the good work!

I so agree with you. I stumbled across her channel about 8 months ago. Because of her I decided to try M43 for the first time and bought an Olympus EM-5 she had featured in one of her videos just as a lark - just to try it. I was blown away with the camera. Since then I have been a loyal follower of her channel and have now acquired a Lumix GH-5 and a Lumix G9 and am a M43 convert. My Nikon APSC and Full Frame cameras get a lot less use now. (BTW - I'm enjoying your channel a lot as well...)

I do do a lot of m43 gear reviews, my first m43 was Lumix GF1 when it was released. Then keep jumping between Olympus and Lumix. I've reviewed pretty much every piece of Lumix gear released over the last 4-5 years.. and a few Olympus (a bit hard to get access to their gear in New Zealand). Anyway if you want to checkout my m43 reviews, and if you have a few hours of spare time, i recommend you to checkout my Lumix G9II review first :D and I hope that review doesn't completely bore you. Would somebody be kind enough to put me in touch with a person that is not an Olympus ambassador I’d love to meet one. Just a bit of advice in the big stores Wex and others do not linger too long looking at their Olympus stand somebody is sure to come over and snap you up for an Olympus ambassador. That’s The only qualification you require. 😁😁😁😁👍. You both have an enjoyable fun channel but please stay away from Olympus nobody believes a Word they say.
