Thank you! So many doctors just hand over the equipment without instruction. Appreciate your help.

The video is both clear and well done. Thank you very much. I have been avoiding stairs because of Parkinson’s on my right. I’m going to try your technique this weekend!

VERY helpful! I was rather flummoxed by a set of escalators recently...had not been on any for a while, and now I have a stick. Going up was no problem, but going down, I could not fathom how to get onto the escalator! Fortunately, the store also had a lift, so I was okay. But many places have escalators....what is the solution, please?

I think you already found the answer . . . avoid the escalator even if you have to take the stairs! But, let's see if anyone has a better answer.

@kathym6603 I actually figured it out: I do not need the aud of the stick when I step onto the escalator. I was confused because I use the stick in my left hand, which is also the sane hand I use to hold onto escalator rails. I simply carry the stick in my right hand, keeping it clear of the escalator.

What you did on the stairs work good. However I have a bad left LEG and Arm. If the rail is on my BAD side I will go up or down stairs side ways. Some times I will go down backwards. I have adapted.
