I am so happy that you have good a/c so now you and Marley can keep cool during Summer. ❤️👍🌞
I'm happy that you and Marley will stay cool now. Love Marley 💖🐕🐾✨💖
I would just pour that drain water out. I wouldn’t drink it or give to Marley.😊
I also think we could see more if you backed up a foot or two because we’re not seeing what you’re seeing.
You’re very fearless when it comes to tackling projects!😂
insulation duct for the ac what a good idea also about reuseing the water that is genius! Seems like never ending remodelling with a van! I live in a 25 foot boat and it is the same thing, always fixing or changing something idk why small spaces are like that. What a cutie Marely is, a dog that can throw as well as catch!!
I am so happy you and Marley have a nice a/c so now you ladies can keep cool during Summer. ❤️👍🌞
I would suggest using the water from the sir conditioner to water your plants, to was the dishes in, wash off the windows with it the tires, or to wash your container that you use shen you go to the bathroom. I have used a potty chair off and on for years and used garbage bags in the bucket, but still washed it from time to time.
Glad you figured out the problem with the vent. :)
Hope it helps you and Marley stay comfortable. I'm a cool weather girl and hate the heat!
So glad you got the A/C installed! ❤️
I have some of those gigantic twist ties, and I love them!
You sure never give up! You have some great ideas.
Can you just imagine if a professional came in and did it! Talk about getting charged a high price! Wow!
Good luck and looking forward to your going where it’s cooler and seeing your next plans for your van!
Marley wants her fair share of camera time so giving your toothpaste a throw did the trick!
Take care and thank you for your videos!❤
So glad you and Marley will be going to Flagstaff for cooler temps! Why fight the weather?
I think Marley is a smart cookie, I think maybe she threw the toothpaste out so you'd go out and get it. So she could wander around. 😂
Really looking forward to seeing how you run you a/c when you're not hooked up to shore power.
Marley didn't think you needed that toothpaste lol good video my friend
Hi Lindy, I just was watching your live video so I thought I'd look around at your other videos too. I have been watching your channel now and then and would watch more but sometimes life throws things at you that makes you forget or you just don't get on line as often. I am 72 so I think we are kinda close in age. Maria is My name I live in Alabama. I will make sure I remember to look for your videos to post now. I made sure my bell shows ALL notifications. i sent you a super chat for 19.99 I hope you got it. I am on SOcial Security too but I felt it was important to help you and show God loves you any way I can. Take care ...til next time
Thank you but please never give to if you can use it. I am fine.
Marley is so fiesty and adorable! What a good friend to have with you. Is she a Maltese? It is clear that you take great care of her. :)🐩
Hope you are cooler with that AC.
Nice video. The A/C hook up looks a little quirky but as long as it’s keeping you and Marley cool 😎 that’s all that matters.
Better to look a little quirky than paying a huge sum to get it done.
Reminds me of the Macgyver series on tv!😊
AC is on my "bucket list" Thanks Lindy
You need to back the camera back a little
One in a while, it's so close we don't know what
We are looking at,
Glade you have it all set up now. I have a portable ac in my back bedroom that bottom plug u can drain out or the top one can stick a tube down it to drain also all time leave it in. But I mine doesn’t ever drip much Make sure u havd it in ac not dehumidifier like I did when first got mine.
Save the time and buy insulated flexible ducting. Good job sweet 🎂 Lady!
I wouldn't drink that water or give it to Marley, you never know what kind of metals and chemicals are in the ac unit. Even a water purifier unless it is a heavy duty reverses osmosis wont filter out those fine chemical particles. The refuse water could be used to clean mechanical things . You also do not want to contaminate your filter. Just my humble opinion.
You missed the part where I would filter the water with a qater filter. I would never drink it without filtering it.
That’s correct, no matter what filter you use, that water from the ac is not safe to consume.
Can’t imagine anyone drinking that water that contains so much dirt & bacteria.
That’s taking a big gamble.
If you choose to drink it that’s your choice, but please do NOT give it to your dog!
@@deedeeotero4475 ok. But I really am curious about what the filter will do. I will do more research before I drink anything and certainly won't give it to Marley. Thanks
@@l.a.v.alindysawesomevanadv3428 I dont think I missed it. I think that it would poison your filter. And those particles are so tiny they would get through. Again just my humble opinion. I would do more research for sure.
Miss Lindy...... please come to connecticut. I have a place for you and your van to stay. You will be able to plug in and hook up and have heat and have your air conditioning in the summertime and have clean water. Marley will have clean fresh water and friends as I do rescues
Great work, wishing you success, I'm in sticks and bricks and our air-conditioning is having issues, lots of noise in late afternoon and evening, company not coming til 7/5 unless emergency, it is above 90 degree weather so guess we living on a prayer. So we know your concern. We've been without air before. Stay safe😊
You are so ingenious when it comes to problem solving. You go, Lindy 🤗🤗
😊 thank you
Marley is so adorable and funny
We have air conditioners like that. Ours stops running when it needs to be emptied. We have to unhook the venting take it outside and empty only the bottom plug as you can’t tip it far enough to empty water due to plug so low to floor.
The plug drains. This is my third one and I always let them drain into a bucket.
Hoping you'll both be staying cool and safe, Lindy! God bless. Rosemarie ❤️
Nice to see your leaving and staying cool. 😊
Marley! 😂😂😂 ❤
Your such an inspiration
Thank you
Thank you 😊
Just in time for the heat 🔥 👍
hi Chris😊✨️
@@vuloira hi 👋 😃
YAY!!!!! right on good for you and marley!!! :)
If only you could use it all the time.
I know they are expensive, but maybe you could find a used roof top air conditioner? lots of campers sitting around defunct, but still have good parts😅
Solar on my roof.
Two days ago, I just got a portable 5,000 btu air conditioner. Vissani brand at Home Depot. It vents out the front window. So far, so good. It's hooked up to shore power, but hoping my Bluetti AC200P will run it too, haven't tried yet. Hope you stay cool.
Should run about 2 minutes
Nope 2 hours at least.
Glad you got this as so so hot...love that Marley...lol
Maybe get the water tested before you or Marley drink it… could be toxic… be safe Lindy … 🥰🙏🇨🇦
I am
Stay cool.😊😊
Good morning Lindy 🌹🌺🌻
Awesome job❤
Yes, it's dangerous for dogs to drink water from an air conditioner. Air conditioners remove humidity from the air, which can contain pollutants, toxins, and heavy metals. As the unit ages, it can also accumulate mold, bacteria, mildew, and other microorganisms, which can make the water even less pure. Drinking this water can cause skin irritation, digestive issues, or allergies in dogs. From my Vet
I am not giving Marley this water.
I would use foil tape to attach the hose. It sticks on everything.
I did
Marley!
How about a portable evaporative cooler instead?? I can run mine in my tiny house full bore 24/7 and it only costs less than $10 per month!! A fraction of the power you need for that AC and takes up much less space and you could run it all night.
Especially since the Sacramento area has low humidity
She also would not need the hole saw or waste the money for the hole in her wall.
Lava I wouldn't take the chance the water that comes out of AC units are acidic please do not drink that nor give it to your dog please don't thank you Miss for your video
Before I do anything I will filter and then have the water tested. Your comment is the 2nd one I received about this.
FYI Bob Wells,, posted a video not long ago about a nice Generator nice size, the beauty is that it can use propane or gasoline.( he prefers propane) Perhaps you might have seen the video,,the price was about $399.00 or so,,,You said you be going to Arizona soon,,
Thanks I saw it
❤❤❤
❤
How are your plants growing?
I am wondering if you can get a Y-adaptor and extra bit of tubing, to have your two separate ports drain into a single tube? It might take a bit of thought, but it should be doable. That way you only worry about one collection point.
Lindy I don't think you can drink the water from the ac😊
Only if it's filtered.
I was worried about you 2. Stay cool 😎
How wonderful that this is working out, Lindy.
Does the duct sleeve block the heat from the tube? That heat is why portable ac can be ineffective. I don’t know the manufacturers don’t just provide them with insulated tubes.
NO HEAT ESCAPES with this sleeve.
@@l.a.v.alindysawesomevanadv3428 - That’s awesome. I’ll have to tell my sister about it.
You don't want to know what I think.... lol
Nope LOL Good job Lindy? LOL
@@l.a.v.alindysawesomevanadv3428 yeah. Good job lindy
@MichaelWilliams-ro9bm you're funny. Have a great day.
I looked it up. Water from ac should be boiled before drinking. Some don't and are OK.
I am filtering the water.
@l.a.v.alindysawesomevanadv3428 yeah. I was trying to help you out by explaining to those saying you shouldn't. The only thing the experts say that could possibly happen is toxins off copper coils. But, idk if these like yours even uses copper anymore.? Love you and your videos. I've been sick concerned about you 2 in the heat. I live in North Dakota in the summer. It's wonderful weather. Average since I've been here is 70 to 80 in summer.
@l.a.v.alindysawesomevanadv3428 if you ever wanted to come here I would share with you the campground name and location privately. Happy trails!
Don’t take the chance…
Hi Lindy. How many hours a day do you run your AC?
Video on Wednesday will explain.
@@l.a.v.alindysawesomevanadv3428 Looking forward to it. Thanks!
Lindy you have a Debbie Downer in your comments.
Wow...
Please don't get offended as a dog owner I only give my dogs the best, take care of Marley she should have the Best in Life. ❤ Im sure You wouldn't use the water from the air conditioner flitered or not to cook with, so why risk your dogs health.
I am not giving Marley that water.
Why three comments. I am not offended But all you need is one comment.
Would only water plants with the ac water. Glad you are well. Marley is so adorable 💘Stay well❤
