Kiama Bombie Carnage - June 2020

Kiama Bombie on the NSW South Coast is a small patch of barnacle covered rock that sits in deep water only 20m or so from the shoreline.
Every so often a hero wave rider will tempt fate by throwing themselves into the massive winter swells that explode onto the rock shelf.
Brendan Rowney throws caution to the wind back in June 2020 while world renowned surf cinematographers Tim Bonython and Chris Bryan are almost washed into the ocean, drowning a $80,000 Red camera in the process.
