I noticed that too! so respectful. He's a new actor, he's new to talk shows, we all would've understood if he'd just let that slide since "guys" can sometimes include a woman like "Hey guys!" or something, but he had THE RESPECT FOR WOMEN to stop and correct the host of the talk show. I am seriously impressed.

Top Gun Maverick: One of the greatest dramatic/action movies I have ever seen in my 50 years! Tom Cruise is the greatest action star of all time in my opinion! The story, the acting, the cinematography, the nostalgia, the story development and characters far exceeded the original Top Gun! This should be nominated for an Academy Award for cinematography, editing, sound editing and production design. And I would go so far to say Tom Cruise should be nominated for Best Actor for a superb and emotional character he has reintroduced in our lives! Go see it now!!!

These stories on Tom Cruise. I can’t even. He tries to make the smaller stars better actors and inspires them in their careers going forward. Any other actor who would do such a thing?
Well, I recently finished a Cary Grant biography and while it's not at the level of Tom Cruise, Cary would often take jobs to help out unknown directors and he would give advice to up and coming stars as well. I think he even gave advice to George Kennedy (not an unknown) who was grateful. Not to say Cary was perfect on set, but he definitely seemed like he wanted to help out a little.

the contract for this movie must require all cast members to talk about tom cruise like he's a god. meanwhile, tom cruise doesnt do talk shows because everyone thinks he's a weirdo.
you can pretty easily see quite a number of Cruise doing talk shows to promote Top Gun Maverick and a lot of his earlier films.
