The Maschine Studio is still a credible controller in 2023.
They are still selling reasonably priced on Reverb and eBay.
Very close to an MK3, less the soundcard and FX strip, and also a smaller form factor.

It’s not complex once you know the workflow in Maschine. I can get a beat going in 5 mins, and have it structured in about 30 mins. Maybe that’s just me, but the ideas tab surely does help.

I would love to be able to load a kit and just lock in a sound, then load another kit in the same group but the lock sounds don’t get replaced. So essentially a lock feature. I have to load another group to look at other kits then copy and paste a sound over into the original group. Only downside to this is it overrides any routing into my other daw I.e Logic Pro.
Why do you want to load two kits in one group?
@@GarfRichardswell you load a kit and patterns to start and let’s say you like the hi hat groove you could lock it in with the sample and midi, then replace all other sounds you don’t like with a new kit without the hi hat you like being affected and go look to lock in another sound and so on until you have a full drum groove your happy with. This can be done with most other samplers, for example Atlas & Loopclouds Drum vst.
Does one of Akai MPC's do this? I would hate to face this problem while layering my drums.
@@lander.96 Off the top of my head, I guess, I’d have to create multiple groups, to separate the sounds and grooves I’d want to keep.

Fantastic beat. I'm also using maschine studio, I'm very happy, but they say that maschine 3 will be released. Do you think it will stop the updates of Native instruments studio, should I switch to mk3?
Well, currently you can use an MK1 controller, so I doubt they will make the studio obsolete right now.
If you think, it’s quite close to the MK3, less the built in soundcard, the FX strip and the form factor.
Everything else is close, even better user experience in my opinion, not having to use hot keys, to get to functions.

Is the older Native instruments software still available and supported for the Maschine Studio?
When you say “older” which version?
@@GarfRichards For example, Mojave, El Captain - basically the Mac version 10.4 backwards. The newer maschines only work on Mac version 11, 12, 13 etc which is basically Big Sur up to Samona. Looks like you were using Maschine Studio with Windows though tight? Whereas my question is which Mac Os is required to run Maschine Stdio?

Hi, yes I have a 2021 MacBook Pro with an M1 processor. Both the M1 and M2 processor will work with the latest version of Maschine ✌🏾

@@GarfRichards since it doesn't come with software is why i'm asking, i wanna chop, use Regroover, drum racks, sequencing also trigger some hardware samplers (S-550, JS-30) Im scared of hack'd software baddddd xperiences!
IUf you’re talking drum racks inside of Ableton, there is an Ableton template for Maschine available if you search online.
@@GarfRichards Im a hardware guy that got spoiled by software, I use a MV-8000 and in Ableton and Reason I make some sick ass sounds.
