Working on old cars is easy. I got a 73 Challenger so I know all about it. I use Classic Industries for parts and glue gun from Wal Mart for plastic repairs, you definitely need one of those.
@maui6446 I'm always wary of working on old cars especially when they have custom modifications. You never know what kind of sketchy work has been done before...

How safe is 50 year old wiring? Did you find anything you thought was scary for a possible fire? Bad connections, etc...
