- Episode 1 of Vault Hunters Lets Play has us find a base location, and aquire the things needed to do our FIRST vault run! I explain everything up through the point of actually running your first vault.
I am both a technical player, and a thrill seeker! I have played Minecraft for 6+ years although this is my first adventure into modded, and I have played ARPG games like Diablo for over 25 years... making a game like Vault Hunters right up my alley!
Vault Hunters 1.18 is a modpack currently in Open ALPHA. It is unique in that it focuses on action rpg style gameplay as well as all the classic Minecraft elements, with over 2.1 billion different chestplates, swords, idols and more, the pack features a never-before-seen depth! This series will be played in 1.18.2 Version 13

Hey Prowl. I like the direction you're taking your channel. I didn't know of this modpack but it seems quite fun. I will definitely continue watching the series and I think I will have to try it out myself as well. I also like this semi-longplay format. Keep it up :D

Wow I wonder how much pushback Mojang gave Iskall for this mod? It is a brand-new game! Looks fun.
They wouldn't give him any. Modded helps keep Minecraft alive and relevant for many people.

I haven't played it yet but until that my favourite is create mod.
This has parts of create as part of it.
26:56 When you hit that + mark, if you are holding shift(it might have to be left shift, not sure) it will put items in your table to make the the most that you can, up to a stack at least(nonstackable items mess that up too).
Also, you can save recipes in JEI by pressing "A" while mousing over an item. Saved items will appear in a list on the left of the screen.

I have always played minecraft Bedrock. I did watch a few streams of you doing this, but got confused. This episode made me want to watch more. I am not sure yet if I want to try it myself, but I liked the video, will try to catch a stream
Ill be showing a lot about how the early game works, so people can both get into the modpack with me, or understand whats going on by the time we get to the end game.

I moved from Bedrock on Nintendo switch to Vault hunters. It takes a while to get used to the Java controls, I also use an Xbox controller for movement in the vault
Its a shame that vault hunters isnt on bedrock as i am liking the game but have no way of playing it. Looking forward to see how you get on in your world.
Iskall has hinted that if Bedrock ever became capable of doing what Vault Hunters does, that he would consider having it developed for Bedrock too.
Great first episode Prowl! Great guide content! Just a request for possible future videos, could you highlight or point to things you’re referring to on screen such as in your item stats and stuff. It took me too many rewinds to know where your “mana” was when you used it for health 😅

Im unable to play Java Minecraft so mods is something I don’t think I’ll ever understand, but I love watching you play! I’m curious about how you decide what to use for builds? I’m no architect but I want to build a great home base but don’t know where to start.
Just whatever blocks look good together honestly. I may have a texture in my head, or a primary color in my head, then I just look for things that go with that.

I’ve had a 200 day or so vault hunters world and the little armor thing that shows the durability is messed up it’s like blended with the food bar so I can’t see it any advise?

Would you start a Minecraft hardcore World java
Not at this time. I don't have much interest in vanilla Minecraft, and thats just vanilla but perma-death. Plus, I have a bedrock hardcore world I streamed from by using an add-on to make it hardcore.
If, for what ever reason, you start the game and get a crash with an error, “invalid key #” I believe is what it says….i had to remove all mouse buttons. For some reason it’s cause the game to crash and I had to stop playing for the longest time cause I couldn’t figure it out.
I ended up needing to do a fresh install which removed my world and player data. Which (through trial and error) I finally found out what was causing it.
Are you in 3rd edition? Bc it looks like it to me

Unfortunately Bedrock isn't capable of hardly anything this mod pack does. It is on Java Edition.
