For its size this is a pretty neat boat, but three things let it down: the choice of wood colour, the flimsy steps to upper deck, (should have spent a bit more on a sturdy built in staircase) and the canopy over fly bridge - again flimsy and temporary looking.

@@DenisonYachting Okay, I get the Deadliest Catch reference, but with over 1000 gallon fuel capacity I would imagine one might do a little more than putt around the harbor. I have seen Nordhavn boats with plexiglass guards for their windows (which are much higher above the WL than these) for offshore motoring. I was curious if this boat had any type of protection for the near the waterline windows should you get into the sudden squall. Are guards required or needed? Maybe it is in the design. Just wondering.

This is the link for the BoatTest review of the 52. It highlights the best cruise speed and range at that. Although I don't believe this going to be your transatlantic trawler due to range, she's built very well and can withstand the bigger blue water. The current owner has had the boat throughout the Bahamas, Florida Keys, and up to New England as well.

Good narration on this video. To get a full time captain to get around can you give me an estimate of cost. Especially someone like you.

Seems like a lot of boat for 800k…that’s actually affordable to some professionals.

wish they had stairs to flybridge instead of a ladder. especially for people with disabilities that can't do ladders.

Never heard of panning don’t you?!?😊😊😊 as well as making the video as continues as possible...😊😊😊 both will make it easier for viewers to get the idea of the layout of the boat... you got nice pics with what you’re doing but that’s what you have... pictures and not videos...🤣🤣🤣 might as well do slides...🤣🤣🤣

good question. common etiquette on most yachts, although we see this loosening up a bit. The idea that bringing in dirt and stains on a boat, especially one with nicer flooring, is a compliment to the boat and the owner.

Interior is bland...like an extended stay motel room...and if this thing really has a trawler hull, pushing it through the water at 23 kts will drain the tanks in no time at all......

      @@DenisonYachting My point exactly...
I'm not "Mister Marine Architect" here but aren't trawler hulls designed primarily for stability and volume? Broad-beamed?
You could make a trawler hull go 23 knots, but why would you want to?
Like I say, I'm no expert.

@@LeonAllanDavis a very fair question... the market has asked for faster boats (and more efficient boats). which is why the Swift Trawlers have out sold all other trawler brands in the US the last couple of years...

@@DenisonYachting Oh...now I get it... That makes sense. It is a "fast trawler". Hence the name.
A lot like a "schooner". Like the "Bluenose". If memory serves, the Bluenose was patterned after Newfoundland fast fishing schooners. The first ones into port in the morning got the highest prices for their catch. There has to be a marketing angle in their somewhere...
