The good news is that if we accept Jesus into our lives as Lord and Savior and strive to live as he did, we can be forgiven. But please understand that this is a glib response. There ISN'T always adoption for everyone. There are many reasons many couples don't qualify that do not reflect poorly on their ability to parent or the love they have to give. Age is just one of so many disqualifiers for example. All agencies have similar ones. It would be less hurtful and more true to say something like, "you could try adoption" etc. Many people who would love to adopt are turned away for many reasons not their fault and bear that pain forever.

I have three cousins that are adopted within our family meaning my aunt’s sister couldn’t take care of her sons (they are from Guam) due to financial and emotional hardships so my uncle adopted them as his own kids but within the family if that makes sense. I do not know the legal ways in how they did that but he is retired military so I’m sure he had the legal help he needed to make that happen. My other two cousins were toddlers/kindergarten age when adopted. My mom’s family was never wealthy but I’m sure way back then there weren’t so many requirements/restrictions as you are describing now. (Latin/American Indian family) Thank you for the “heads up” and proper etiquette when talking about options.
My husband and I can't have children either, but we are currently working thru the adoption process. It's very time consuming and emotionally draining, but it's equally as rewarding as you are still giving a child the gift of life. I definitely encourage her to try this route, if/when she is ready. I was TERRIFIED when I told my husband i was pregnant then again things were different. 1) I was 17 2)we weren't married 3)we weren't planning on marriage 4)he wanted to wait til I was older and we were more stable. *I got pregnant on the pill. When it found out I was pregnant I CRIED and was so scared he would leave me, I was convinced he was going to break up with me... Well when I told him he asked why I was crying I told him I worries and he told me "well I told you what I wanted but everything happens for a reason" and he said he wasn't going to go anywhere and 9 months later we got married 2 weeks before we had our son. Here we are 13 years later and I am 8 months pregnant with our 6th child (We've been together 16years and married 13yrs)

This was so beautiful! Coming from a different culture, this wouldn’t be acceptable in my situation. If I was pregnant it would have been hidden until after my wedding. However, as an adult today, I’ve learned that we all come from different backgrounds and culture. This means we all have different beliefs and traditions in life. We have no right to judge anyone! We’re not any better or any less. We are humans with different challenges and lessons in the journey of life!
