i would love to see Pokemon Conquest to come back. it's one of the best RPG's pokemon ever made and it has massive story content. i heard a lot of fans say they want this game to comeback with a Remake or a Sequel. Pokemon Conquest also makes me wonder what the Pokemon series would be like as a Warrior or Muso style game like Dynasty Warriors
Pokemon conquest being remade or given a sequel would be amazing. Not sure if I agree about a warriors style game for the Pokemon series, but then again I’m not a huge fan of warriors games as a whole
Legends: Arceus is a main series game, not a spinoff.
That said, Legends definitely should be a series. It's the breath of fresh air the franchise has needed for so long as I had so much fun with it. The mechanics were fun and shiny hunting was so much more easily accessible to filthy casuals like me.
I’m of the opinion that it sits halfway between a mainline game and a spin off 😂 but absolutely Legends needs to be its own series. Did open world so much better than SV did on release, though I haven’t played the DLC yet

I really want an Explorers of Sky remake. That game was the best in the series.
I’m not sure I ever played it, I picked up a copy a while back and it’s in my backlog, but I’ve got 800 and something physical games + my steam library to get through 😭
Lemme tell ya… pokepark hits right in the heart, I ate, breathed, sleeped those games as a kid

I pick Pokémon Ranger. It can have the Legends: Arceus gameplay with Abilities working in and out of battles. Hikari no Kiseki has the best art style any Pokémon game can have.

You were right! This is a great video! I couldn't agree more with your choices! Most of these spin-offs were my childhood, and I wish we could get more instead of free to start puzzles games and pokemon unite. One series I really love is the pokemon Rumble games. I'd love to see a port of the first one to the switch e shop at least if not a collection of all 3 main games on a cartridge i just feel that pokemon quest doesn't to the rumble series. I'd also love to see a spin-off about pokemon contests. I think they could go really in depth with the mechanics it would also be good for world building. I've also always loved the concept of a game where you explore the Pokémon world akin to the anime except the fact that you wouldn't collect badges and instead there would be tons of in game quests like most of the time ash isn't getting a gym badge but instead helping someone out, exploring and learning more about the Pokémon world. I really feel that they need to spend a lot of effort and time on a game like this, and it would really pay off if they did. I really like the idea of spending the night at a pokemon center or camping out and they could have it so after quite some time you may encounter someone who's out searching for a legendary pokemon but instead of catching it they could do what they usually do in the movies dedicated to the legendarys where some evil team is trying to use it for their own gain or something along those lines. I also love the idea of there being an option to recruit/make friends with other travelers and have them travel with you while having custom dialogue. I seriously doubt that I'll ever see a game like this in my lifetime since I doubt the Pokémon company would want to spend multiple years working on just one game but I don't know I guess technically it could happen.

Contests would be pretty cool, but I doubt they'd do it as its own spin off. Reminds me of a lot of the shovelware they had on the DS and I think Nintendo would probably try steer clear of that, but I could see it happening as a mobile game.
If Gamefreak expands and gets more people on board, i.e. they do a COD and have several studios working on games simultaneously and release them in a cycle, I can see them spending a lot more time on something, but otherwise I think Arceus is going to be the closest we get to what you mentioned for a long time
@jimjambutt yeah, I agree, though. I think it would be nice to see more emphasis on the other modes such as contests musicals pokestar Studios and the pokeathalon. Also, what I meant by a game focused on content would be like the main series where you collect the needed ribbons to get into the grand festival instead of 8 gym badges and getting into the Pokémon league. Idk if you ever watched the Gen 3 or 4 animes, but if you have it'd be like how may and dawn did it where you'd still be able to catch pokemon and battle them but they'd just put more emphasis on the contest than the gyms to appeal to people who aren't the biggest fans of the traditional pokemon gameplay. I just feel that if they could make contests like they were in the anime where you have to Strategize which moves to use and when as well as being able to combine moves to make brand new effects to win over different crowds that would be pretty cool.
I didn't watch the anime 😅But I definitely agree, having a lesser focus on the gym aspect and more focus on the contests could be cool. They could go the SV route and make contests one of the main story quest routes, which could be quite cool. Can definitely see them doing that for Gen 10
@jimjambutt Now, that would be pretty cool! I'd love to see the same idea done with other things such as pokestar Studios, which could really change up the game play since that's more of a puzzle mode if anything. But I'm really not sure what we're actually gonna get. We'll just have to wait until February 27th to find out.

I would love to see Pokepark return. Maybe they could make a game called "Pokepark Deuxe" that brings back both of the games in one

I’m pretty sure legends arceus and let’s go have already been confirmed to be mainline game by the Pokémon Company and gamefreak not spin off games. Just like bdsp is mainline game not spin off like every mainline remake like fire red and leaf green, heart gold and soul silver, let’s go, and Oras. just in case people thinks bdsp is spin off game. I need my new mystery dungeon game before any other spin off game. Not a remake, a new game. It’s been a while since super mystery dungeon when we have had a new game and not a remake of a mystery dungeon game.
I feel like Legends and Let’s go are half spin off half mainline. They’re too similar to the mainline games to be spin offs, but too different to be “mainline” 😂

I think of all the games I mentioned, Mystery Dungeon is probably one of the most likely to get a new game too
@@J1mothyyy I’ll have to fight someone and throw hands if the ranger games or another Pokémon spin off game gets another new game then mystery dungeon. Considering I’ve played ranger game very briefly. I mainly know rangers from the anime and that manaphy movie before starting playing the spin off games and mainline games as a kid. There are people that say pokemon mystery dungeon is a bad spin off series. I understand that we have opinions but sometimes opinions can be bad and wrong. I don’t understand how people can say such audacity statements like that. I just want my new mystery dungeon game, that’s all I want. I enjoyed the remake in 2020 but I need a brand new original one.
My personal preference is for a new Ranger game, but that’s cause it’s been so much longer and I’ve got more nostalgia for it.
The more I think about it, if we see a new Ranger game, I’d expect to see a Legends style game - I.e. 3D, using the Ranger story/concepts but with a new gameplay mechanic. Hopefully still ‘realtime’ rather than turn based

A spinoff game that would be great would be a Pokemon game similar to Mario party with their mini games. Maybe even add Pokemon home compatibility so you can use your own Pokemon and get some extra ribbons

@@J1mothyyy yea they have the roster for it for sure! And with certain Pokémon types they can mix up the game modes to a wide variety of different style of games
I mean, Unite is basically just League with Pokemon, I can 100% see them doing almost the exact same thing for Mario Party 😂 I can see it being pretty popular as well, and put a unique 'Pokemon' spin on it that Mario can't do

Having just played through the Indigo Disk, i pretty much think Pokepark is back now except even better lol
And after playing through the Switch version of The World Ends with You, another DS game that heavily relied on the touch screen and now tried using motion controls to replicate it in docked mode, no way will a motion controlled Ranger be popular with people. This gameplay just sucks, and if they were to do Ranger I'd rather they just make it a mobile game because the touch controls were such a key part of its identity.

I’d argue they could still do it for Ranger with that game in mind. I think TWEWY needed a bit more precision for docked mode to work (I played it entirely in docked and streamed it 😂) but I don’t feel Ranger would need *as much* precision compared to TWEWY.
But you’re right, the gameplay wouldn’t be as good. But god no I don’t want a mobile game 😂

i think explorerrs of darkness remake is hapoening also i think a new game with pokemon rnagers should be made. maybe even a remaster. more pokken tournament sequel with everything from the first game pokken dx. a pokemon master collection with exclusive versions including pokemon bw bw2 xy oras sm
