I own 2 Springfield Firearms. XDM Elite Compact 10mm and The Saint Victor. I don’t own a Sig but highly respect them. With that said, to me I believe both companies put out quality. But from what I have seen on many reviews is that Springfield is killing it w the quality to price ratio. They might even have the better quality right now....and they give you a ton of value

Great comparison. I'm a Springfield Armory 1911 fan, own several but don't own a 10mm version. I think what makes the Springfield Armory lose out is there is no front strap checkering.

Both great pistols. If I were to choose one, Springfield, all the way. America!!

I own a Springfield trp operator and a Ronin both chambered in 10mm, my brother has the Sig, love all of them but definitely need to swap grips on the Sig to a set of Alien scale grips from vz and you won’t look back

The only SIG 1911 I owned was the full-size Scorpion in .45. While a reliable piece, the fitment of parts and trigger wasn’t as good as my SA TRP .45. Please don’t get me wrong, It was still very nice. I have a SA TRP 10mm and it’s solid. The only thing I don’t particularly care for is the scalloped front strap. My favorite 1911 is my SA Professional Operator Light Rail .45. If only I could get one in 10mm…

After a year, any updates? I would like to hear if you have any new inputs. I'm highly interested both, but I can only have one in 10mm.

Sig 10 mm emperor scorpion basically the same as tac-ops but cooler idk I don't see anyone else ever doing videos on it that's what I would get at that price point.. or save a lil more and get a colt

I’ve got a sig 1911 emperor scorpion in 10mm. It’s absolutely incredible. I think it’s similar to the tac ops version. Great gun!

I own a Tisas 1911 .45 $500, and I can drive nails with it and it shoots very tight groupings. Just sayin I don’t see the point in a $1k 1911 unless you just want to spend the money on a brand name 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️. My opinion tho…

I just bought a stainless Tisas in 45 acp. I love it as well. It would be really cool if they came out with a 10mm because I’d be first in line to buy one. I currently have the Sig in 10mm and like it.

One of the worst dry charges I’ve ever seen…do some research on what happens lettin the slide go dry…if you had crisp sear surfaces there possibly nicked, chipped, cracked anything can happen and why chance it…just ease it down. We’re not Steven segal here…

Hey. You might be interested in some Ed Brown cocobolo grips. They are about $100 but worth every penny. Now my opinion. I have 4 Sig TacOPs including the .10mm. I also have 4 SA .10mm's and I have a total of 15 .10mm's in my collection. As a retired 30 year US Marine with all 30 years spent in infantry related fields first and foremost the 1911 is THE COMBAT PISTOL. Now which do I prefer SA or Sig? The Sig definitely has more felt recoil. It's accuracy and reliability are second to none, it is a fine handling pistol with a great ejection pattern, sight picture. I agree the original grips are lacking thus the Ed Brown grips. The trigger is an easy fix, polish, stone etc. The SA is also a fine handling gun. Extremely accurate, felt recoil is very smooth and the gun gets back on target fast. I have the SA .10mm Long Slide which is 1 of 100 guns produced. SA changed out the bull barrel and FLGR to a GI system a nd match grade barrel at NO cost to me. I would rate Sig the absolute best customer service out there, (Ihave over 40 Sigs, 13 SA's) SA customer service is outstanding as well. I have had zero malfunctions of any type with any SA or Sig 1911. If any of your viewers are interested you can't go wrong with either of these .10mm's. Enjoy your day and Semper Fi.

@@SMASHTIME You can't go wrong with the E. Brown grips. I have them on 7 1911's. BH Spring Solutions also have some great grips. I totally customized a Springfield SA-35 and put BHSS grips on the gun and they look great and feel great. Semper Fi
