- This is the Luxor Pyramid Elite suite at the Luxor Las Vegas resort and casino. These are hard to find much info on the internet and they dont have very many of them so I wanted to share. Sorry this video was a little rushed. I like to wait until I'm leaving to do room videos so that I can include any quirks I find during my stay. I really loved this room but the pyramid elevators are slow and a little shaky, so being on the top floor, this one was a little less convenient than the tower suites, even though I like the room better.
Thanks for the great footage of a suite and hotel with style. 👍
Hi thanks for the vid. I see a door over by the bar table. It looks to be a connecting door, but I called Luxor and they told me Pyramid Elite Suite doesn't connect to anything. I told her about videos showing a connecting door, but she was sure it doesn't connect. I'm going to book it anyway and ask for a connecting room. lol.
Yah ha! Unless something has changed, they definitely had some that connected to either a pyramid 2Q or the 2Q corner suite depending on floor and location. I've seen a 2Q connector with me own 2 eyes I swear!
I got this room twice, is nice, had a few people very roomy 👍🏽
Wow! That's a room. I will be there in 4 days. Pyramid corner king suit, wish me luck!
Oh yah, good luck! I'm next door at "the trashy castle" right this second in the casino!
@@MCann 😅
Hey man, this was a great video. How many of them Ryan Seacrest dress shirts could you fit in that closet, ye think?
Probably a dozen or so. Maybe more if you bring your own hangars. Also depends how many Ryan Seacrest coats and dinner jackets are already in there 😂
Hello @MCann I am bdautch from Vegas Message Board, hope all is well.
Howdy! Always love running into the "creepy Vegas friends" on other platforms lol
This room dosent come with robes but I was thinking.I wonder if you could just ask and maybe they would let you have complementary robes for your stay?
I've stayed in all the suites at Luxor except the pyramid penthouse, and none of them had robes. I'm pretty sure the pyramid penthouse does (it has a legit sauna in the master bath, and I think there are some for that) but I guess what I'm saying is, in Vegas they'll do anything for someone who gambles or spends enough, but does Luxor even have them to loan? I dunno...
I watched this video again and heard u say the furniture came from old hotel 32 monte carlo. Just curious where you heard this from? Thanks
Lot of friends who stayed both places and recognize it, and this is a common MGM thing. The base pyramid rooms at Luxor were just updated with hand me down furniture from Bellagio base rooms in the recently completed renovations of both properties. You can still google the old Hotel 32 and find pics online of the same sectional set up with the 3 odd ottoman things in the middle of the hotel 32 suites
I don’t see how it’s outdated. I think the furniture and room looks great but maybe it is 🤷♂️
I think it's just a little dated, but wouldn't call it OUTdated. I meant dated like showing a little wear and its age. There are little things, like the AC being essentially old window units controlled by wall thermostats, all the wires hanging exposed on the walls from both televisions and for the wifi because they were built in tube TV days and used to have entertainment centers there, the sliding closet doors were a little rough on the tracks and often quite loud, there were some visible patch type repairs in the bathtub, just little details like that. It's still a great room, but compared to even the Luxor tower suites, they just have an older feel to them.
@@MCann thank you for that info! Is it big enough to host a small gathering dk you think?
@@marlanfarrokhi Yes, a small one. The table had seating for five, plus the sectional, and most of them have bar stools at the bar as well, plus there's the handy guest bathroom by the entrance, and you have a larger than average mini fridge and the sink at the bar, so plenty of seating, a place to keep cold drinks, and a potty for guests, checks all the boxes for me!
Please don't be scared of the elevators here.
Yes, definitely not scary. Just a little inconvenient to the top floor, and one particular in the bank of 4 to the top shook enough to make my partner nauseous a couple times. Nothing to be scared of though, and everyone should ride an inclinator and sleep in a pyramid at least once!
That would be awesome to stay there. That’s the top floor right?
Thanks for the video
Yes. Not all of this room type are on the top floor but this one is (thanks to my awesome MLife host for hooking it up!). They only exist on the top 4 or 5 or 6 floors though, not sure how far down they go, but I know 100% of them use elevator 1B bank, and the top floors are all staywell now except for 30.
