Dang it, I’m 1 week into OneWheeling and just ordered your sticky tire for the GT, that protective Float hoody, & tire changes tools. I guess I’ll have to amend my order first thing tomorrow morning before it ships to make sure I get these bad boys you’ve shown here!

Missing step!!! For maximum steez and board speed, make sure the little “F” is facing out on both sides! Don’t forget!
While I don’t think life savers are killer to put on. I’m shocked Jeff hasn’t put people onto the tire lever method (no heating required, goes on like butter). Just get half of it on, put the tire lever through the half that isn’t on, leverage the spoon side onto the rim and push away from you. Pops right over and then just a little wiggle to get the other half on.

Debating on buying another set of Lifesavers. My original set started popping off the rim of my GT after less than 150 miles. Ended up having to cut them off at oak city cause every ride is they would start to come off. Has anything changed with these since the earlier ones? I loved the look and was pretty heartbroken when i had to trash my first ones.
Are those a reflective color or glow in the dark?? I feel like there are some possibilities here
What do you do wen you already have life savers on your hub but need to do a tire change do you heet up the life savers up and take off or can the tire pop off with them on

Great question! We actually had a customer come in today with a destroyed rim. He said his board ghosted on him hit a curb and if he would've had Lifesavers, he wouldn't have to buy a whole new hub
This may be a stupid question, but can you put them on with the tire on and just the bead broken if you want to put them right on a new board?

What do you even do if you shatter a rim? Send it back to FM or have them send you a new motor?
So... did I wreck the microwave or the lifesavers when I followed your old video and heated them up in the microwave?
Hahaha 99% of the time it's fine, but apparently some people have a nuclear reactor for a microwave which causes a little bit of melty blemish on the Lifesavers.
@@TheFloatLifeok that explains because I had this issue! I didn’t notice till after I got them on and there was this one little spot that wouldn’t go flush, I just left it like that because I was already exhausted from the tire swap lol, but will that cause me trouble down the line?

I put these on a while ago and my one wheel never holds air. I have to inflate my tire every time I use it. What did I do wrong?
Which tire? Also, you can find leaks by using soapy water and looking for bubbles. It's even possible that it's a leaky valve stem.
Will this work a Floatwheel hub🤔
That's a good question. We haven't tried, but I assume they would since it's a 6 inch hub
Want to love this product but I’ve attempted getting these things on three days in a row. Boiled them for 10 minutes tried heating them up with a hair dryer and nothing works. Can’t get that last 10% over the lip. Super bummed as I can’t ride trails until I get them

Not for a while. We only did 10 of the GTWTF in Tiffany and said we wouldn't do anymore for at least six months

What science have you used to prove the theory that a force capable of cracking steel will not crack because of a few millimeters of plastic? Can you provide the empirical data and relevant testing information?
If you don't protect your rims at all, they will start collecting nicks and gauges. I've got 1700miles of trail riding and both sides of my rims are shiny all around (bare aluminum)
@@northuniverse But he is talking about cracking and shattering. Are you saying that scuffing your rims is causing them to shatter and crack, but by putting this plastic over them they're no longer going to shatter and/or crack?
