Is it still Prometheus using Orchistrator? I was relatively impressed by Sydney as an emergent AI, but Prometheus is an AK lacking the ML+Time component to expand beyond its original knowledge base due to the Orchestrator constraints. If MS is going to continue with this method, I will leave it uninstalled after removing New Bing, and use web-based versions.
They need to add a clear button after you do a search or ask question. No need to go to the top and close app only to relaunch again.
You don’t need to close it. There is a refresh option under the menu.

I think the blue button on the bottom left should clear the current thread.
Yes, the blue button on top of the textbox is for clearing the screen, without refreshing the whole thing. Zack didn't use it but it's there.

I wish you could set it to open up in the middle of the screen and dock it to the right f you want. I find it very hard to see information on the far right on a big monitor
It's on the side because it's not supposed to be the focus. They want you to keep this up and use it like a friend looking over your shoulder as you work, not like you're talking to your friend directly. It's interesting they have this even in preview because this is so so early in what they're envisioning for this.

The wallpaper itself isn't theme-aware. There are 2 default themes which combine light/dark theme with the corresponding wallpaper, but it's not theme-aware like on Apple devices.

I am still on 22H2 and I saw the co-pilot preview button suddenly appear on my taskbar last night. It's completely gone this morning on a fresh boot and Microsoft refuses to let me update to 23H2 🙄

If only it didnt stop difficult discussions. Ive had many examples of Bing, and now Copilot telling me it is changing the subject - it didn't "like" my line of questioning, or my pushing back against its answers.

Most people take the easy way out, and that is to stick with what the market gives us.
I'm 64, with an IT background, and with 5 kids and 10 grandkids, and a wide circle of friends/contacts of all ages, and I only know 1 person using Linux today.

The only thing holding me back is for my kitchen and bath design business, need windoze as most of the design programs are windoze only. Things like AutoCAD, and 3D presentations etc. I am testing out some online programs for the above.

Copilot gave correct directions on how to disable Copilot through group policy editor.
Directions were horribly slow but accurate and Copilot is now disabled on my system.
Many of us have hardware that can run AI processes, perhaps if you release a usable app, I will enable it again.

This is like old Siri's natural language query, nothing new. I'll stick with fast Google searches.
In the time it takes to enter full sentence queries I could done the task and a bunch of other things.
This is stupid. I ask it to open settings and it asked me if I really want to open it. This is a huge step back from Cortana. If I asked Cortana to open steam or file explorer or even a specific program on my desktop it would open it without a second thought.
I should not have to click yes every time I ask it to do something. It should be seamless and hands-free like Cortana was.

Copilot is just too verbose to be useful. In a daily life scenario, you would use Copilot WHILE doing something else, and reading/listening all that explanations for a simple answer just stops your workflow. Imho, Copilot should give you the precise answer only, and providing you an "expand" button if you need a more elaborated response.

I'm not impressed by this Windows 11 integration. I was expecting it was more than a sidebar chat assistant. It doesn't seem that fed by the user context and the apps installed in Windows.
It’s also missing the acrylic blur background that the images showed, as is typical with anything Microsoft these days-they’ll throw ultra-slick designs in mockups but the actual software lacks it in some cases.

one question before i watch the clip: What information will the co-pilot sponge up from the users? We all know that AI collect data like a mentally ill horder.
My experience says that if you want to protect your private life and your personal data you need to uninstall windows 11, microsoft wont remove the AI spy. It will end up the same as it did with the TPM chip aka microsft don't care what their customers think.
My windows 10 will be restricted to 5 minutes / month use until i die if microsoft keep this attitude up. I havent used my windows for 2 months and im not planning on doing it for a while now. Microsoft will most likely push the AI spy in the face of every windows 10 user as well.. its only a matter of time.

@@joshuahernandez-th6ov its a personal choice but i have moved to linux/arch as a primary system and windows as the last emergency system i use. I can at least sleep and wake up without notice that my computer have rebooted and deleted my data in the morning.

I have win11 pro live in America have the latest update still no Copilot, did all the group policy registry etc NO Copolit = I don't use an Microsoft account on that notebook for a reason and can't have Copilot and it is driving me nuts! did all the research what is going on I can only guess if you use a computer without microsoft account your S out of Luck.
