Oooh just discovered this! Love the idea of a DnD-inspired readathon. Looks so well thought out, excited to go back and start the journey from Chapter 1!
YESSSSSSS I now have a June TBR…and thank GOODNESS because apparently I cannot be left to my own devices because I didn’t read in May (I mean, by my standards, but life kind of won this round so maybe it will chill now). I was getting nervous with your talk of battles, but this part of the Readathon has taken THE CUTEST TURN, I get to make my own WORLD! I gotta find a map to color in or something (because I certainly can’t draw, but I’m gonna NEED visuals. But like…you know I took this video as a challenge to read 19 books, right? Also, did I buy a dress with dragons on it just for this readathon? Yes. Yes I did. And wait until you see what else I got…it LIGHTS UP! Oh, and I also can’t lift it…but honestly, that’s not as a big of a clue as you’d think (pun totally intended). I’m gonna have to work hard to get those diversity reads with at least five Bridgerton books on this TBR though…I’m sorry to inform the male population of the ‘Ton that “romantically constipated” does not count. (I’m sure you’re far too interesting to lose your personality to Bridgerton once a year…I, meanwhile, am sleeping in nothing but regency-inspired nightgowns. My wardrobe…actually worked fine already. Don’t. Say. Anything.)
Hey here’s hoping June we can ALL read more books because, we need all the motivation to read we can get. I’d love to see your drawing of a map now haha. If you read 19 books for this I will be both impressed and shocked, mostly impressed though AH! Stop I can’t wait to see the dress and whatever heavy light up object you got (I am beyond curious) Oh I’m here for the Bridgerton reads, I need to know what you think. And I won’t say a single word about it, though yet again, I’m impressed
@@BooksToAshes Let's just say there's no turning back now...Although the light-up object has yet to make its grand reveal until later. (You see, I have another dress that's JUST the right shade of pink to match...although, alas, no dragons on that one.) I will say spoiler on the Bridgerton prequels...I wouldn't bother so far, I am draggggggging my way through them. Like, if you don't have fun writing them and just want the cash...we can tell, Ms. Quinn. Yawn.

I love this! Meanwhile not me using The Poppy War to hit multiple of these as I scramble to finish in time for the next round….*glares* we ARE having a next round? My undead dragon wants to know…excuse his manners, he is going thru a phase 😂 he only just discovered he is dead (and not in very glorious circumatances) and it’s NOT to his liking…
@@TheYellowBusLifeReset That sounds really cool! Like, a ghosty or zombieish, supposed to be dead dragon! I'm pretty sure we will have another round but you don't need to stress to finish. You can finish chapter two whenever! I myself have only finished one or two prompts xD

I’ve a bit of a tummy bug so am feeling kinda naff plus I’m also simultaneously playing TBR StarHop (by Stephanie’s Bookverse) been going thru a lean reading patch lately…and I’m frankly more interested in working out the details of my world and my dragon backstory than actually reading the books 😂😅
