You r doing great , i am employee of ptcl i think so its all about your MSAG condition and your CABINET condition , and your DP condition also , if anyone who on fall in such type of faulty conditions , so complaint first then the CP visit your connection point , of the boy solve the troubleshoot that's too glad for you. So take the linesman no or cp no .if anyone facing such type of problem again. So i think ask him for your network stability ,ask him for your DP condition and force him to change your PIAR and TIE from the CABINET and show you all SNR margin and parameters before and after . there is almost the 80% fualt That's in your CABINET and in your DP . this is all instructions for your copper network If you r living in such area where the ptcl fiber network operated GPON Network , so you r lucky just chill you r free from all faulty conditions & disconnection ,because the Cooper network system is too old and its all about your network condition So i am living in Islamabad i have 50 mb fiber connection i never face any network issue almost .fiber is upgraded network who run on GPON technology. Actually After This Comment, I Watched Your Every Video Related To PTCL And Internet Speed. Today I Observed My SNR Margin And It Was 65(0.1db). But My Attainable Speed Is Stuck At 2000(2Mb). And That's Why I Can't Get More Than That. I Removed The Splitter And Directly Connected My Wire Into Modem. Then My Attainable Speed Reached To 5MB Limit And I Got 4Mb Speed. Now My Phone Line Is Dead Without Any Reason. Maybe The Box(Don't Know The Exact Name Where Router's Wire Gets Connected Before Splitter) Is Faulty. I'll Try New Splitter And That Box. I Hope By Increasing Attainable Speed, I'll Get Maximum Speed Of 6Mb. Thank You So Much Sir For Amazing Guidelines. Now, regarding your issue, get a quality splitter (although they’re hard to find) and keep 4/5 of them. Finally attach a good quality line from splitter to Modem. Asalam o alaikum. Great work. I'm one of your recent subscribers and take benefits from your videos for which I thank you. A bit related to this video, my problem is that I've upgraded my 6mb adsl 2+ to 15mb adsl2+ after which I'm getting disconnections while putting load network like online gaming. With video streaming and browsing net is working fine sometimes and other times it gives the same problem even with browsing. Then after waiting for like 3 4 minutes the router globe light turns of then come back on and started giving internet access. Hvae to mention it here that with 6mb connection which I'm using for last 7 years it never had any disconnection problem or speed issue now. Line man said downgrade your connection to 8mb as they don't have vdsl2+ cards installed in my area. I'm not sure what he meant. Kindly help me out if you understand the issue. Dear Sherdil, 99.99% it won’t solve the issue. PTCL MODEMS are usually good. So in my view you shouldn’t do that. You’d waste 25/26000 Rs for Nothing Really.
Bhai in Sab cheezon ka logo ko pata hai. Ptcl ki policies subscribers dost nahi hain.Rural areas mein long distance ziada hone per subscribers ziada data attain nahi ker sakte. Dslam exchange k pas tu her Subscriber ghar nahi bna sakta.line parameters long distance per Genuine Weak hoon ge.bohat important hai.Solution Video bnaein.jo kuch Aap eb bta rahe hain.mein ye Sub adsl,vdsl,Gpon,shepon ka kafi pehle se janta hoon.magar adsl ka hi rural Pakistan mein beda garaq hai.Ptcl Abi rural Area mein adsl ko improved nahi kr saka.adsl parameters equipments pr koi solution important video bna dein please.
Well in this case the modem was bad. In your case there can be bad line parameters dear or a bad joint. Things vary from case to case. Get your checked.

Sir we have a new zte modem but the problem whenever we connect more than two router through lan than one them don't work. And whenever power goes than the other also don't get. WiFi is working great but other router face issue and they don't get internet.

PTCL viewers are not so loyal. 2. Most don’t watch video and just start asking questions in comments. 3. Don’t worry about speed test if you modem is showing correct speed. Because if you select the wrong server or if the app selects the wrong server the test won’t be correct. Happens many times.
Sir I have frequent disconnecting problem. When it disconnects before DSL light becomes unstable. All the parameters are fine. I am tired of complaining to 1218, the line man maintained number of time with checking by ports and pairs. Eventhough I tried by changing modem but yet no satisfactory solution ensured. Plz sir help me out if you have any idea to come up with this problem.
Yara if your line parameters are good (that you say are good) then the only other reason can be load on your DP / DB or the age of your Cabinet. Ask your line man to change you DB / DP if possible.
Facing same issue first they set the wrong Internet package I ordered for 6mb adsl and they set it 4mb and and my net was continuously getting disconnected after I lodge complaint they said my line is not stable so lodge again for stability so I lodge a new complain they called me for problem is solved but still facing the same issue even speed is not constant getting worst ping in game 💔💔💔💔

Complain not working Local ptcl person come and check line and then go . And problem remain constant. What your suggestion to do please Line 0: ADSL link up, Bearer 0, us=739, ds=4607 Line 0: ADSL link up, Bearer 1, us=0, ds=0 PPP LCP UP. Received valid IP address from server. Connection UP.PPP Connection UP on ppp0.

I have also problem in my internet. I have vdsl modem but speed from 9pm to 12am aroung 1 to 4 mb from 8 mb. I tell to ptcl more then 10 times that change my connection type from adsl to vdsl but they say that we are not bringing vdsl to this area. We are bringing gpon to your area but from last 2 months gpon still not come. If u have a friend in ptcl so please tell to him or her that please solve my problem
That’s bad on PTCL’s part brother. They should handle the matter more professionally. I would suggest to go to exchange and physically talk to some responsible person. I am afraid I don’t know anyone but I’d be glad to help.

Dear brother its DB, Distribution Box, the box from where your connection is routed through. I also said same in my comments. If your DB is overloaded or bad, same issue can happen.
Same problem with me... 10mbps and downloading speed is 0.12mbps at peek hours and 1.9mbps normally. Hope they solve it in less than one and a half month.😂
Hi sir I live in the same society just 2 streets away from where you went in the video I was facing the same issue that the internet access kept on cutting off even the ptcl agents couldn't help so we got rid of it and started using zong MBB device limited but it does not suit us now we are again thinking of getting ptcl but this time we are thinking of getting VDSL 2 how do I know that this time our connection won't get distorted I'm in a dilemma right now kindly help me if you can thanks alot your vide was great btw
Dear Buddy, I believe we have a slight difference of opinion here, basically the modem of PTCL is configured to Show "SNR MARGIN" not "SNR", Higher the SNR margin, better should be speed. And so it is theoretically. PTCL recommends to have SNR MARGIN 80 or High. That's excellent. In my personal experience it works until 60, as soon as it drops below 58 the internet cripples and then I check for all joints and clean/resolder myself, SNR margin jumps back to 110 and I'm good to go for next 6 months or so.
I Visited Kamal Bhae with an out of order Modem then we again go to park and meanwhile lineman changed the old modem with a new one.😁😁🤔🤔. Where is the solution at your end man?

Dear Khalil, it’s not possible to let you know about fault in your line by just looking at the speed. There can be so many possibilities. Please contact PTCL and ask them to check and correct this issue.

Asalam o alaikum. Great work. I'm one of your recent subscribers and take benefits from your videos for which I thank you. A bit related to this video, my problem is that I've upgraded my 6mb adsl 2+ to 15mb adsl2+ after which I'm getting disconnections while putting load network like online gaming. With video streaming and browsing net is working fine sometimes and other times it gives the same problem even with browsing. Then after waiting for like 3 4 minutes the router globe light turns of then come back on and started giving internet access. Hvae to mention it here that with 6mb connection which I'm using for last 7 years it never had any disconnection problem or speed issue now. Line man said downgrade your connection to 8mb as they don't have vdsl2+ cards installed in my area. I'm not sure what he meant. Kindly help me out if you understand the issue. Thank you brother and keep up the great work.
Hmmm. Yes I do dear. Either there’s too many connections on your card in Cabinet or your modem acts crazy on high speeds (if your modem is old the 2nd possibility is strong), however check your line parameters according this video: czcams.com/video/kp4oUz6T_YI/video.html if they’re not up to mark then try to get them improved. If DSL light is stable and all line parameters are good then may be your WiFi is getting interference. Try changing the channels.

Dear Sherdil, 99.99% it won’t solve the issue. PTCL MODEMS are usually good. So in my view you shouldn’t do that. You’d waste 25/26000 Rs for Nothing Really.

Bhai in Sab cheezon ka logo ko pata hai. Ptcl ki policies subscribers dost nahi hain.Rural areas mein long distance ziada hone per subscribers ziada data attain nahi ker sakte. Well in this case the modem was bad. In your case there can be bad line parameters dear or a bad joint. Things vary from case to case. Get your checked.

I think you're getting interference on wifi channel. Try changing it.

Yes Sohail dear I do. However while I do have much more information to share - TO BE HONEST - I have almost got away from this topic and not making anymore on PTCL. Reason is simple 1. PTCL viewers are not so loyal. 2. Most don’t watch video and just start asking questions in comments. 3. Sadly many still don’t get anything from what is explained in video and then they start raising many many objections. Not because I didn’t explain it BUT because they didn’t pay attention to matter. Hope you get my point dear. So sadly - while I am making some awesome video about my ship and technical things and reviews, I have stopped making videos about PTCL. Hope you’ll understand that my dear. 💓

Some people just come to find one specific answer or statement and if they can’t find it they become disrespectful. I want my videos to be informative as well as tasteful. Again some people make fun of it. It’s specially true for videos about PTCL. So you can understand what I feel. I am not here for money dear, I have started this channel after I achieved that goal. I am here to just fulfil my desire - desire to make something good. My videos are made from heart NOT computers. Don’t worry about speed test if you modem is showing correct speed. Because if you select the wrong server or if the app selects the wrong server the test won’t be correct. Happens many times.

Sir I have frequent disconnecting problem. When it disconnects before DSL light becomes unstable. All the parameters are fine. I am tired of complaining to 1218, the line man maintained number of time with checking by ports and pairs. Eventhough I tried by changing modem but yet no satisfactory solution ensured. Plz sir help me out if you have any idea to come up with this problem.
Yara if your line parameters are good (that you say are good) then the only other reason can be load on your DP / DB or the age of your Cabinet. Ask your line man to change you DB / DP if possible.

Facing same issue first they set the wrong Internet package I ordered for 6mb adsl and they set it 4mb and and my net was continuously getting disconnected after I lodge complaint they said my line is not stable so lodge again for stability so I lodge a new complain they called me for problem is solved but still facing the same issue even speed is not constant getting worst ping in game 💔💔💔💔
Oh that’s so bad. There is a reason that people are fed up of PTCL. There was a time when I was too, until I started doing most of the things myself.

You should use VDSL modem only if your line supports VDSL, otherwise no use dear.

I have also problem in my internet. I have vdsl modem but speed from 9pm to 12am aroung 1 to 4 mb from 8 mb. I tell to ptcl more then 10 times that change my connection type from adsl to vdsl but they say that we are not bringing vdsl to this area. We are bringing gpon to your area but from last 2 months gpon still not come. If u have a friend in ptcl so please tell to him or her that please solve my problem
That’s bad on PTCL’s part brother. They should handle the matter more professionally. I would suggest to go to exchange and physically talk to some responsible person. I am afraid I don’t know anyone but I’d be glad to help.

Dear Handsome devil (good name by the way), it seems either your line or DB is seriously bad. I of course can't check your parameters to pin point the fault but it's a good idea to push you line man to check everything. It can be resolved otherwise boy.

Dear brother its DB, Distribution Box, the box from where your connection is routed through.
I also said same in my comments. If your DB is overloaded or bad, same issue can happen.

Dear Buddy, I believe we have a slight difference of opinion here, basically the modem of PTCL is configured to Show "SNR MARGIN" not "SNR", Higher the SNR margin, better should be speed. And so it is theoretically.
PTCL recommends to have SNR MARGIN 80 or High. That's excellent.
In my personal experience it works until 60, as soon as it drops below 58 the internet cripples and then I check for all joints and clean/resolder myself, SNR margin jumps back to 110 and I'm good to go for next 6 months or so.
I Visited Kamal Bhae with an out of order Modem then we again go to park and meanwhile lineman changed the old modem with a new one.😁😁🤔🤔. Where is the solution at your end man?

Dear Khalil, it’s not possible to let you know about fault in your line by just looking at the speed. There can be so many possibilities. Please contact PTCL and ask them to check and correct this issue.
