SHE'S A beautiful woman !! I was 13 in that wonderful summer of 1976 & LOVED " Nadia " ..*..
I remember this well. I was about to join the Paras, jolly tough lol. I remember watching this on our old telly thinking that girl was so determined, it spurred me on, I made it. Just ten days apart our birthdays! Fantastic to see it again.
I was 4 and I remember watching her on the black and whiteTV...good old days

It was great. The whole world fell in love with this kid. Everybody cheered for her no matter what country we were from.
World fell in love with and Montrealers even more. She will always be sherish, appreciate, love and remember.
Katherine Chapman true at that time my dad was 16 and he told me he was never in to gymnastics but when u watch her perform your just go wow. And she was also the person who inspired me to do gymnastics and she is a righty too😍

Nadia was perfect and I adored her.She fought against the people who wanted to stop her being better than the rest of the world. Every person is theoretically equal in the communist's eyes.She is now a superb wife and mother. I still adore her.I will always wish her and her family a long and good life.

Nastia Liukin was one of the best artistic gymnasts of all time and the very last American who performed according to the original artistic gymnastics scoring system before it was changed around London 2012 Olympics into awarding the most powerful gymnasts with the highest technical difficulty level and in which artistic elements like the ones Liukin amazed the world with like gracefulness, elegance, delicacy, effortless and light as feather execution inside a choreography of which beauty actually expesses emotions were no longer taken into account for scoring.
Nastia Liukin same as Nadia Comaneci's massive legacy vanished along the years because some individual or individuals who had no right to change the rules of artistic gymnastics changed them for an unknown reason. No other gymnast since then can even be compared to gymnasts like Nastia because art was taken away from artistic gymnastics leaving nothing left but a mecanic awarded sport which no one follows nowadays.

+DarthHugsALot My friend, during a quarter of century, Romania has "provided" lot and lot of gymnastics champions. Olimpic, World, European, whatever. Those performances are due to Romanian strategy in sport, meaning a World rank school, all the facilities for the little gymnasts, nice, sweety romanians, all for our future. This is the "secret". Romania is the Queen of gymnastics, no doubt at all! US, Russia, China, stay in line!

Very much inspired on her perfection. Fantastic Athlet she is., I was 15 years old in 11th Grade in school. The perfection is a real motivation to me today. I apply the dedication of her perfection .. in my current profession., since I die hard to be near perfectionist in my area of work.

I was 12, too young for being a volunteer.
But with my family, we assisted to the gymnastic's men competion.
One of the Russian was extremeley impressive. But I don't recall his name. And surprinsingly, the japanese team won the team result.
My names Nadia and I am going to enter gymnastics I hope I will be as successful as Nadia
