- Today I'm reviewing the Samsung Hw-S60B sound bar and I'm putting it up against the Sonos Beam gen 2. I've been using my Sonos for a while now and I just needed to replace them since there's not enough ports for me when connecting a PC/TV and PS5. Quick update on this. I think there was a software update and the subs are totally better now. Really good sound bar to be honest! definitely worth the price!

Oh this is good timing, I'm deciding between these. I'm mostly just needing better dialogue and don't want bass. Does the update make the samsung comparable?
@@treefallsinaforestyup! With voice enhancement they bring out the voice more without killing the background. After using this soundbar for awhile it’s honestly good enough! Really good actually 10/10 would recommend if you can get for a discount
@@BrianMads Well that's good to know. It'll be my primary sound for my tv (but again, don't want bass). I was going to pick up the sonos today since there's a sale but I can wait til the samsung goes half off again. Thanks again!

Yes it’s a must! It actually makes this whole setup worth it!

Unfortunately nope! Just Samsung subs but you’ll have to check which one

Hey ive got s60b and want to improve the sound experience overall what ya suggest to grab the subwoofer or rear speakers not both cuz the total cost will go beyond what’s planned for actually as a budget midrange gadget lol ,, thanx
The sub is a must cause it helps a lot !
So if you would compare the soundbars without the subs, how would they compare?
Without the subs Sonos is a lot better. The only thing that makes the Samsung compare is the addition of the subs
Excellent Review! I am split between the Sonos Beam 2 without the subwoofer or the Samsung HW-S60B with the woofer (Costco has a package deal for $259). Would you recommend the Beam 2 alone over the Samsung with the woofer?
Nope! The Samsung is better than the stand alone Sonos beam gen 2. The gen 2 comes alive with the woofer. The Samsung at that price is actually very good. It’s like 95% of the Sonos
Thank you. I ended up going with the Samsung. Is it just me, or does the bass on the soundbar alone sound almost Non-existant without the subwoofer? I unplugged the sub and the bass from the Samsung soundbar alone is almost worse than the TV bass. @@BrianMads

Nvm. I figured it out. The costco verision ( HW-S68CB) is not marketed as an "all-in-one" sound bar like the S60b. So it doesn't have the internal woofers.
Oh I didn’t realize Costco had their own version!
What's the difference between the S60B and the S67B?
I don’t there is any. It could just be the naming for the white version in the UK
