  • There are a lot of Keen hiking boots out there and it's hard to know what the difference is between them. Here is a review on the top 4 hiking boots that Keen makes, along with their strengths and weaknesses. Hope this helps you out!

It's said Tar-Gee, the G is hard. Named after the Targhee National forest, it's known for being the "other" side of the Tetons. It extends north and south along moof Idaho and Wyoming's boarder. There is also Grand Targhee ski resort right near the Wyoming Idaho border.

i have a ridge flex mid boots . around 50kms of use flexible rubber ripped off. doesn't live to the expectations being a keen brand.

Incredibly annoying. And the Durand 2, is Keens best all around boot. Easily

I had three pairs. All soles fell apart. Do not buy!

I had a pair of cicadas (their budget Targhee) and the sole lasted from February 2023 to January 2024 of being worn 5 days a week 10+ hours a day outside on mostly pavement. Yes the soles were the first thing to wear out but it takes quite a lot of wear to wear out. To be honest the soles are even still fine for dry weather they just no longer good for wet weather as all water soaks right in. If that’s how their budget shoe performs I would imagine their higher end ones must perform as good if not better.

Keen customer service recommended to me Pyrenees, Durand II, and the Targhee II for backpacking with a heavy rucksack. I need waterproofing, a comfortable toe box with enough space for thick socks, and durability for hours to days of backpacking. Which would YOU recommend?

Durand 2, hands down! This is Keens best overall boot. Not based on top seller, data. They are simply built better, with better materials and look better as well, in my opinion
