    beautiful car my man, i have a 2010 sport all blacked out, gloss black stock rims and tuxedo black. not sure what a good exhaust system to use was, i’ve heard magnaflow from some friends and some have even suggested just a good old muffler delete... i can afford either, any suggestions? i’m ruining everything stock by the way...

      Cole Burchette thanks! I have done the muffler delete before and it sounded great. Especially for only $150. But it did have a little drone that was getting annoying so my new setup is vibrant UltraQuiet resonators in place of the rear mufflers. It cut out a ton of drone but sounded basically identical to the muffler delete. The factoey exhaust on these cars flow pretty well so I think a full cat back doesn't give you any benefit over replacing the rear mufflers. I have videos of the muffler delete as well as the vibrant set up and now my current set up which is vibrants with cattless downpipes. The bottle neck in our exhaust system is in the cats and possibly the factory rear mufflers.

    Great video, I just put on the throttle spacer and Steeda 93 octane tune to my 2011 sport and had watched your video, me thinks I saw your vid, when I put the CIA in June 2016, but I dont think I did sorry but excellent tips thanks. If anyone can appreciate a four door Ford its us. If you get the Steeda tune AND the throttle spacer, whirlly thang, its well worth the price of admission! My baby goes smoothly from naught to insane in no time at all! Never raced it officially or been timed but think it in the mid 5's now. If you have the $$$ get the 93Oct and the 87Oct and feel the difference it truly put my head into the seat. Just the throttle spacer made a difference as I first thought I had programmed the 87Octane at the same time but forgot to turn the key back on after it said turn off. But once I had everything programed and running right it was like having an extra 25 horses shifting smoothly at any RPM. And I must say the MPG hasn't changed but the attitude has with fifth and sixth gear acting as one. Cheers and best of the mods to you!

      Daren Connell thanks for watching! Great to see someone else that likes these cars as much as I do! If you like the Steeda tune you should try the Unleashed, the car is a total different animal. I also have some exhaust work done and suspension. Never thought there was much gain from the throttle body spacer but might be worth looking into! Another thing worth looking into is porting out the throttle body and manifolds. Still need to get to those!

    • @99MCougar
      @99MCougar  Před 3 lety

      Cpt Drewbie I have tunes from Steeda, Tuning by James and Unleashed. If I were to do it all again I would go with unleashed. You can purchase a cal tuner from unleashed on their website. They contact you and give you some instructions (ECU number and modifications). They will then send you the tuner (xcal) with tunes programmed. You plug it into you OBDII port and follow the directions on the tuner.
      The other option is to buy a used unlocked/unmarried SCT XCal 3 for way cheaper and then contact unleashed for the tune. They email you the tune, you upload it onto your tuner with the sct software/program (free on their website) and then plug it into your car and upload.
      It sounded complicated but it’s honestly super easy

      FuseMedia so Ive already got an SCT X4 tuner from steeda is it possible for me to still get tunes from unleashed to put on that? Do i have to like buy access for their tunes or can i just email them and have them send me some?

    • @99MCougar
      @99MCougar  Před 3 lety

      Cpt Drewbie perfect! If you go on the unleashed website you can purchase the tune. I think it’s $150 for 2 tunes. Once you buy the tunes Torrie will email you. You will have to give him some info about your car and he will send you the tunes.

    Any issues with the fusion sport? Im thinking about getting a 10 or 12

    • @99MCougar
      @99MCougar  Před 5 lety

      None at all, super reliable. The higher mileage ones can have issues with the rear diffs (if AWD) and again with higher mileage the water pumps can fail which is either a big job (engine comes out) or it cooks the motor so an engine swap is needed. That being saod it doesnt affect every Fusion Sport out there only a small amount (very rare). They are super reliable, lots of power, comfortable cars. I would reccomend it for sure.

    How much horsepower did the tune add to your car ?

    • @99MCougar
      @99MCougar  Před 5 lety

      I never had the car dynoed but the Unleashed tune I have right now is a good diference on the butt dyno. I belive somone made an extra 20 or 30whp with a tune. I think it was a James tune. I have both James and Unleashed and I feel like the Unleashed tune has a bit more punch. I also did some 0-60 runs with an old G-Reader and that said the Unleashed was faster. Plus Unleashed was able to tune my ported intake manifolds and bored throttle body.

    • @99MCougar
      @99MCougar  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes and no. You can get a Steeda, K&N or Injen intake for your 2.5L but they are specific to your engine. So yes and intake will work for your 2.5L but the 3.5L one I installed wouldn’t work for you. The install process is relatively similar though.

      @99MCougar  Před 2 lety

      Steeda advertises it as 12hp without the tune and 25hp with their 91 Oct tune. I had their tune before and it is only slightly better then stock. I would recommend an Unleashed tune instead.
      Power aside I think it makes a better overall driving experience. You get the induction noise and it makes the car feel a bit more sporty.
