Glad I discovered your channel! I’m a huge horror fan and reader but surprisingly do not really combine those interests and am looking to start. I appreciate that you’re discussing this authors work in a way that isn’t totally centered around just repeating the plot or particularly gruesome scenes since I don’t really want to be spoiled if I ever pick one of his books up. Your voice is also very soothing :-) (and i appreciate your copy of the vampire chronicles in the background! i have the same copy in my anne rice collection)
Thank you so much! I'm always concerned about giving too much away, but wanting to share enough so people can see what's unique about a story, so I'm glad I appear to be finding that balance. Also, does that Vampire Chronicles book make you feel fancy? Because it makes me feel fancy! 😂
The title 'The Slob' suggests laziness and low energy. It takes a LOT of energy to hold a woman captive and put her through hell. I would have preferred 'The Pig'.
Lmao. In 'The Slob's' defense, it takes less effort if she waltzes right in on her own accord. 😂 Also, I do have 'The Pig' on the tbr, but I have a couple of other vids planned first. 😊
Oh, I disagree. Don't get me wrong, there definitely are parts that just seem gross for funsies. But the parts that stuck with me have more malice or contempt fueling them, which make them feel very purposeful within the story.
