also... for anyone who is wondering why this storyline is so similar to other shows, that's because it was intended to be that way. skam austin is the american remake of the original norwegian series skam. There are many other countries that have remade the show, with the same storylines, in their own language. Each remake has some differences that vary depending on culture and the writers intentions of the series, but at the core, they are all very similar. These other remakes include: skam france, skam germany (druck), skam nl, skam italia, skam españa, and wtfock. Enjoy the skamverse!

Noorhelm will never be replaced but they can be remade in their own way. it's so specialll and I honestly love the remakes. I love SKAM SOOO MUCH so the Skam Universe expanding is so beautifulll
I see your point but there are really some awesome remakes. Eva‘s season is truly awesome in the italian skam - even much better than the OG. Isak‘s season is magical in the french skam. And Noora‘s season is something completley different but amazing in the german version. You should give them a try!
@@SE-wn4cx you're absolutely right! I haven't watched some seasons of the remakes like S1 and S2 of Skam Italia and Skam Druck and I'm gonna watch them soon! I was just thinking of something. No matter how much I love the original, we have to remember that the original actors and actresses were playing characters. Those characters are now played by new actors and actresses so in fact the remakes could actually have better seasons than the original depending on people's preferences. For example Elu from Skam France and Davenzi from Skam Druck made me feel more heartwarming feelings than the original did to be honest so based on my preferences and my opinion (not a fact), they were better than the original. I loved Noorhelm more than anything so it's hard for me to love the remakes more than the original but I have favorites! For me, Skam NL and SkamWTFock are the most underrated remakes and have the best Noorhelm in my opinion. I love all of them tbh hahaha but those are my favorites
