Hello everyone! GoldenNova here! The next Dawn Of Majesty theme we're going over is Gizmeks. I mean, sure, they've been released one at a time over the past few sets, but now they've finally come into their own! Or, well, they have a bunch of new infrastructure now, whether they're a proper theme is another story.

I'm not sure how we got from "giant machine snake dragon" to "CHUNKY BUNNY WHAT A FRIEND" but I'm okay with it

As an almost exclusive machine type user im surprised I haven't found these lovely robots of mythology earlier, in a way I see this archetype(?) as a mixture between ancient gears and karakuri. Gears for mythology, karakuri for Japanese culture.

Do you think Karakuri can synergize with Gizmeks? Then again, they are based on Earth Machines and restricted right?

@@VelenZaiga btw if your still looking for answers depends on the card because it only they all have problem restrictions of same atk and def so the only one that can really help would be yata as it doesnt have a effect that relys on same atk and def however keep in mind you have to tribute a NORMAL summoned monster so its super inconsistent to hope you can draw it and rely on normal summons

I'm a simple gal: I see deep Japanese mythological influences in my card games, I like them. Extremely glad they expanded it to a full theme, though I'm not sure I vibe with their playstyle very much. Also their field spell has incredible art and I WISH they'd have an actual full scroll of it.
Kaku was a big asset for my old Crusadia deck. I don't use the equip function like at all, but it brought a decent chunk of ATK to Equimax.
Ooooo, that Kaku tech makes a LOT of sense. I wonder if you could use that to open up some funky World Legacy Level 9 shenanigans?
And yeah, the scroll looks gorgeous, I would get a wall scroll of that, easy.
The level 2 gizmek is effectively a lonefire for appliancers and the best morphtronics. I've had pretty decents results with this tech

I really love the gimmick of Gizmecks and hope to see more of them. Also im surprised that Gizmeck Inaba is the first monster to have an ATK and a DEF value that ends in a 10 value instaid of 100 or 0. Makes the deck seem a little more unique

I've been out of yugioh for a while, but deskbots were my last deck before I quit. If I were to come back, these guys are the new deck I would want to use.
gizmek okami is level 10 so you can use that to go into juggernaut leibe who has the same attack and defense and its permanent stat boost effects both stats so it stays that way too

Yata is rather useful in ABC decks and paired with galaxy soldier it can give the opportunity to summon cyber dragon nova and then cyber dragon infinity

Yeah, I'm thinking about throwing them together with Crystrons. Specifically the three tuners Quan, Citree, and Rion plus a searcher like Thristvern. They are all machines who's attack equal's their defense. Not to mention I enjoy them because they can Synchro Summon on your opponents turn. Also they take advantage of having cards in hand(Quan), the banish pile(Rion), and the graveyard(Citree). I'd also run Machine Duplication and limiter removal, because they are good cards to have for machine decks like this one. Running the field spell at three would also be a must along with a single Terraform.
Yata is very useful in cyber dragons. Level 5 light machine monster that is searchable and can give you an extra normal summon, what's not to like

Normal 9 Volt, Search Charger activate Yata, normal Charger.

I was so happy the first time I've read Yata because I struggled to find ways to normal Charger, other than Stormforth.
And now I've also opened 9 Volt, I can even search charger, summon it AND gain some Lifepoints °3°
I like that they couldn't make the bunny 0 Atk and Def, no it HAD to be at least 50 for flavor
Inaba’s attack and def makes me angry for some reason
I think I can empathize, the 50s standing there by themselves is...it's like when a number ends in a 7. It feels wrong.
I think it would be hilarious to use Guzmeks in Vaylantz with the Deskbots as the big scales

there were ways of getting back face-down banished cards, but most of them were not very good
But it's only a matter of time. It begins with exploring the design space, but who knows how soon it will be before we see generic cards that do stuff like this?

There's about 3-4 flubbed takes, but to be fair, I practiced a LOT before I sat down to record xD

I'm not sure how, but I'm thinking that there might be a half decent Obelisk deck viable with him, considering he is a 4000/4000 and this deck might just have enough material for his tribute summon (like the one gizmek that allows you to normal summon again, bit then restricts special summons). Just my 2 cents

It sure does! It's because it doesn't specify what KINDS of cards it can return, just banished cards. Kind of like how Omega's effect to return a banished card to your grave and put face-down banished cards back too, because they don't have a specific kind of you have to return.
How many takes did It take u to pronunce the girls spell name ?
When recording, it was 3-4, I think? But I had been practicing since the day it was spoiled, so that likely helped bring the number down xD

The wording on that seems pretty spicy, I can see where you would come to that conclusion. I feel like, though, if it only summoned a monster that you OWN, it would have been more specific about that. But as it stands, I think it can summon any Monster Card equipped to them on YOUR side of the field. But if it's equipped but still on your OPPONENT'S side of the field, yeah, I agree it wouldn't be able to summon in that instance.

If only there were some way to figure out what "your" in this context meant. Like some kind of *text* of the *card* that was written in a way to *solve problems* where the meanings of effects, restrictions, etc. aren't clear and end up being open to interpretation, potentially causing ruling is. Really wish Yugioh had something like that when Sky Stag was made...
