This was truly a solo album. Todd wrote produced and engineered the tracks. He sang all the parts and played all the instruments with the exception of a couple of the songs. It was also a double LP when released. Thanks.
3 sides of the double album were 100% Todd. Side 4 was Todd and band in the studio recorded live. Something/Anything is in my top 5 all time favorite records. Todd is a genius.
Recorded during 1971, mostly in a rental house he was living in on Astral Drive in the Nichols Canyon neighborhood in L.A.
@@billbitterman9487 He's also a helluva nice fella. Really does like his fans. I once saw him at a small club in New Orleans in 1978 -- two shows a night for two nights. The second night, between shows, his manager, Eric Gardner, tapped me on the shoulder and asked if I'd follow him to Todd's RV after the second show. Turns out, Todd had watched me sit in the same seat both nights, both shows, and he just wanted to say hello and to thank me for showing up.
