  • Yes, an ACTUAL e-Reader WITH physical page turn buttons.
There is also an SD card slot built in!
This device is loaded and is slowly eliminating the reason to buy a dedicated e-Reader these days.
Either way, check it out and let us know what you think !

    READING EXPERIENCE!
    Pros:
Neoreader software is stable, interface user intuitive and practical. It shows they're working on it to be the best alternative to the Kindle app.
Ghosting is not being a problem, it appears that browsing the Net caused that. Whew!
    AUTOROTATE! YAY!
    Buttons work just fine.
    ---
    Cons:
only one, and here I humbly understand why Oasis remains, on the form factor, the champion: Though comfortable to hand, without the baricenter unbalanced toward my palm like in Oasis, Leaf2, despite being really light, keeps tring my hand. After a prolonged time, like half an hour, I can't help but noticing the unpleasant sensation of the device risking to fall from my grip, making me hold it harder. Autorotation, in this context, is PRECIOUS, as I have to switch hand frequently.
One problem, BIG problem. Hope it will be solved with the next generation.

I recently bought this, and it came to my attention that it actually only has one speaker. The other speaker grille is actually just a microphone with additional cosmetic holes to make it look like another speaker grille. I have contacted them about this, and they have since updated their storefront to remove any and all mention of dual speakers. Honestly kind of disappointing that they couldn't immediately confirm certain details of this eReader, like Carta 1200 or the aforementioned dual speakers, since they're both kind of a big deal. Looking back on the product launch reveal video, you can actually see the fake speaker grilles at 19:24. I'm chalking this up to miscommunication between their international branch since there's too much of a difference between mono and stereo to not have noticed it sooner, but I'm still disappointed by this information.

OK, first impressions on Leaf2 black, after setting it up, updating and installing reading apps... Keep in mind, I hven't started reading yet.
    Pros:
It accepts all of my apps, including Scribd -VERY important for me.
The screen is really nice, and so is the definition.
    Autorotate, YAY!!!
Form factor makes it a nice Oasis Killer, and it's a real lightweight.
Intuitive, easy to use as expected.
    ---
    Cons:
Slow. I expected a more responsive device, but alas it is not so.
Took FOREVER to update OS. I mean, like, my wifi is good but download rarely reached 500Kbs speed: make it sure you have your lunch break and then some only to update your device!
Ghosting. OMG, lucky me, the navigation ball has the refresh button. While searching and installing the apps, i really needed it! This is one BIG issue to solve in the immediate future.
Google play: As usual, not installed. Meh.
Price: too high, given its limitations and the absence of note-taking.
I truly hope there won't be any problem with reading.

Ghosting is a killer while navigating, I must refresh continously.
The keyboard experience makes me want to grab a pick and using THAT to hammer the commands.

Is the page turner smooth, fast and with no ghosting? What about the battery life? I was also planning to buy the sunken screen, is it the one you have, and if so, do you recommend it?
