Still the band that meant the most to me when growing up, that meant the most to my whole family - consisting mainly of professional musicians themselves. Still breaking my heart that they all changed so fast, that Kasper changed so fast and radically and that they ended things. The good life and a bunch of songs from the other albums formed my life and my love for life and music. Kasper can also paint, he proved, but he’s a musical genius and it’s sad that he wanted to let that go. What he has was incredibly powerful. It’s actually hurtful hearing him being so neglecting about his music and musical career, about the bands past and achievements. Being a music nerd - I know and love a lot of incredible music but saying that Kashmir was one of the most meaningful bands to me is A LOT to say, I hope the depth of these words come through. - Thank you for what you brought to us, I hope you understand how big it was. Fuck what journalists may or may not say along the way. It seems like it was cursing you somehow, what other people thought. It really never mattered. You touched many people. We miss you.
