Humi Consciousness Interspecie Friendship by Sanny Leviste

I was out of town for three days on a Lions Leadership Training this weekend talked about helping wildlife do their share in taking care of the environment organizing for support then talked a little about training Humi. I checked out the feeders and most were finished but there was still a bit left when I arrived. Yesterday, as I was filling up Humi's vials, she did not wait for me to finish and started taking in the nectar enthusiastically. The video was already running so I greeted Humi as she nourished herself. I saw several pink flashes from Humi yesterday and even one deep dive into the glass jar where she/he learned to fly into the lighted container. As Humi was about to leave for another site or some flowers, she did a quick turn, switched on her bright pink neck flashers, then flew towards the camera and hovered a bit with what looked like a major message of appreciation.
I often tell my students that when we communicate with each other, we should do so respectfully. Humi was clearly sending a message to me and I felt very good about the way it was communicated from one Earthling to another. I don't talk hummingbird but I choose to interpret Humi's message like it was a hug. Check it out on the video and tell me what you think, Humi said. On my part, I choose to remember it fondly.
