Some guys riding outthere look like they've never seriously opened up the throttle on their bike, or taken a corner at some reasonable speed

Great video. Superb riding by many. Good to see so many UK sidecars. I wondered where they'd all gone! This is one event I'd like to attend.
Tight circuit that. Suits the motard, side car and the quad bikes. Side car racing is utterly entertaining and freaking dangerous, perhaps that's why.
@@livingadamman7994 Tight circuit isn't a problem for sport bikes either, it's all about the rider. Motards aren't going to out perform a sport bike on pavement. You can tell the difference between experience and rookie when the experienced riders downshift and maintain higher RPM's throughout the turns where the rookies let off the gas and when back on after the turn, they go from low rpm to high rpm way too fast and have control issues. I think one guy even broke his chain letting off the throttle too much and he was trying to get back on the throttle and went from like 1000rpm to 8,000rpm and the chain said F that.
@@marcuslinton310 Thats a fair point. Yes in that regard most the riders were not looking confident and stable, their bikes could be down geared more but I don't know the regs. SBK's are definitely over powered for the job of this track if you know what I mean. A mini cooper rally spec would be good to see eating this track. Is there any videos of this track with fast professional riders?
@@livingadamman7994 Just because a sport bike has tons of power doesn't mean all that power has to be used. A sport bike rider can maintain the same slower speeds a motard can if need be. It's all about the rider and how much experience and control they have with whatever bike they own. A crap rider on a sport bike can easily be out ridden by a better rider on a motard, but rider skills being equal, the sport bike will out perform the motard all day long. Overpowered is strictly an inexperienced rider issue. An experienced rider will know how to maintain proper speed and control however much power the bike may have and will rip through any curve way faster than any motard can do.
@@marcuslinton310 That is correct technically even if you took my track comment out of context, it's horses for courses, that track is too tight and undulating, it's more a go cart track IMO. I'm more into tracks like TT IOM etc. It certainly shows up skill this track, and it's just a time circuit not wide enough for a poll position start race. imagine the mayhem.

Congrats. Most of then are amateurs, right ?. Because I saw 4 or 5 "attaching" correctly the curves. But most of then get in to the turning point too fast. And ,obviously, they loose the best line or go out of the road. Anyway. My respects for all those riders. You have to be brave to ride in an open road and also raining. Bravo.....👏👏👏

Super vidéo qui fait la part belle aux passages techniques. Le mélange entre les pilotes amateurs et les semi-pro permet d'apprécier la différence de niveau. Mais j'avoue, bien que ce soit pas cool de se moquer du malheur de son prochain, que les pilotes qui se sont lamentablement vautrés au premier virage, et bien là j'ai ri (pas trop fort et tout seul dans mon coin). Bonne continuation.
Merci . La course de côte fait qu on va chercher les dixièmes de secondes .... et donc les erreurs arrivent vite , et le parcours était très piegeux suite à de gros orages la nuit .

What a great mix of bikes & riders!
Superbikes, supersports, supermotards, quads, fourstroke and some twostroke, sidecars, wheelieing supermotards, drifting quads and sidecars, riders with a lot of racingexperience and some with almost none it seemed, a few crashes here and there (mostly light fortunately) absolutely loved it,nice flowing track, new asphalt, hairpins, great stuff!🎊🎉👍🏻

Seems like a lot of track day riders trying a hill climb, the queues at the start line must mean by the time it’s their run the tyres will be cold, looks a whole lotta fun and no doubt improves your skill when you get used to it.
--- well, I enjoyed the hell outta that - don't know exactly what was going on: obviously most were first-timers on a road course, but a few guys could ride and lots of people were having fun - I did like that the sides kinda sorted out the track ( which is too tight for sides ) and quit trying to kill the monkees . It wasn't a track school for new riders, for sure; and it wasn't a club track day - seemed to be a run-what-you-brung day / come one - come all.
