Scotts riffs toward the end, when its super loud, is hard to hear but omg its insane. That dude just gets better and better as he ages for real.
I’m seeing them for the first time in concert this year but I’m actually glad I waited because I think they’ve all gotten better as they’ve gotten older.

Every time Pentatonix sings, it is a masterclass. Every time they perform a song it sets the gold standard that every other entertainer has to try to beat. That is the legacy and testament they leave in their wake. Pure talent.
You are correct, if you don’t like gritty Scott, you’re wrong. He just released a new song and video today called Parallel, and the album comes out June 28th.

FYI, Scott dropped his second official solo this morning. I'm not sure if you reacted to his first solo...Mars, but if not, you should...it's amazing and it looks like this one will be just as incredible. It's called Parallel and it can be found on his channel...Scott Hoying.

My favorite version of Creep is from Post Modern Jukebox with Haley Reinhart on vocals. The German girls' version is heavily based upon that one.

That was BEYOND beyond! WOW! I'm already a fan and have been since the original group withAvi Kaplan, but the never cease to amaze me with their artistry, musical style, and absolute PERFECTION with reworking any piece ...or ALL pieces for that matter! I do live me a medley, and they always do it up! This was kind of nontraditional for them, and I LOVED IT!!! Thanks for showing me one I hadn't seen yet!

The two girls surprised me by how good their voices sound together. I think Scott has a sound that is unlike anyone else I have ever heard. Is there anyone you know of who sounds even close to the way he sings? The girl on the left as they showed the audience while Mitch was singing appeared to be stunned.

You definately have to listen to Brian Justin crum version. Also mitch and scott have a u tube channel called superfruit. They cover Katie Perry rise with Brian, and 2 other singers. It is also amazing
This was their "farewell" performance after they were voted off in the semi-finals and unmasked (they were robbed, of course! 😄). Due to the time constraints of a TV show, it's a shorter version of the song, but it still allows Mitch to slap everyone in the audience (both studio and television) who wasn't familiar with PTX!
Since from one of their earlier performances it was obvious there was a female vocalist in the group, I'm still convinced that a lot of people who heard the masked performance of this song thought that the high notes were from her (Kirstie) - but it was Mitch all the way!
My personal favorite performance was Total Eclipse of the Heart, where everyone got a chance to sing a short solo line for the first time (Scott had been singing lead in the first two songs). PTX even managed to sneak in a short a cappella section at the end, when they did one of their "everyone sings a different melody line but comes back together at the end" segments.

I love PTX and I am hoping to see them in September. I have always said that Scott and Mitch are the best singers in the world, honestly.
I think they had to simplify the arrangement for the show timeline too much and try to hide who they were. Glad mitch could slap everyone on their way out though.

I’ve missed you Viking! So much that I’m going to listen to this one again, even though Creep is far from my favorite song. Scott does sing it very well, though.
Once i heard the "California Roll" do a cover of Lady Gaga's Paparazzi i knew it was PTX cuz a dead giveaway was obviously PTX is from California now even though they originated in Texas but Scott also has a distinctive raspy voice like he did in The Sound of Silence & Mad World.
The other dead giveaway is if u look on CZcams & i first noticed this on my PS4 CZcams which is where i consume most of my CZcams content but all of The Masked Singer "California Roll" videos have "PTX" as a hashtag in the video's description box so if one was keen on typing PTX Reaction or Pentatonix Reaction u'ld see The Masked Singer California Roll pop up. The Masked Singer also had Pentatonix in the hashtags too which is another reason ppl knew on social media but they couldn't say anything cuz they were under an NDA. The one Judge Jenny got it early on but they kept playing dumb about it.
Kinda glad yet not glad that PTX didn't win cuz it kinda would've been a controversial win seeing as how TMS CZcams account outted PTX.

I feel like you need to watch the group's entire run on Masked Singer. It's a silly show, but it's fun to see them adapt to having (gasp) instruments at their disposal. And also how obvious it is that it's Pentatonix.

Scott’s enunciation is different because he doesn’t enunciate. He throws away the beginning and endings of certain words.
Don't like the song, not over-impressed with the arrangement, absolutely hated the judges screaming like little girls ; apart from that, it was OK.
