It actually looks really cool with the curved bars. Gonna get me some of those
I couldnt get these bars so I went with the Title 31.8mm 50mm rise bars. Im always pushing up on my finger tips riding uphill to get into a better climbing position. Higher bars make it easier to grip the bars and feel comfortable climbing tech. I put a 50mm rise bar and shortened my stem length to 40mm on my mullet ebike and it makes pulling up when going downhill into a step drop way smoother and makes manuals way quicker to initiate. Its a win on the ebike because there's already loads of weight on the front end because of the battery and you dont comprise much front tire traction. Tip in on successive turns is no problem as well. Jumping and landing control is also improved by better body positioning, more legs less back.
How are the title 50mm rise bars? Thinking of getting
Great video! Due to similar stack issues and back problems I'm also running high rise handlebars on my bikes (Spank Spoon with 60mm rise and 35mm clamp diameter). I recently bagged an uncut 2023 Zeb so I can finally get a proper stack height on one of my bikes, so I will probably give the 35mm rise handlebars a go again when I get that fork mounted.
Cheers brochaco. I have the same issue. Feels like I'm being pulled off my seat
Ive ran Ride High 38 on both my bikes, KSL and Nomad 5, ive found them good over the couple year i ran them but latley ive been playing around with reach a bit, and want to try somthing different like Renthal bars with a more relaxed sweep as i find im getting arm pump alot at the minute.
I'm looking for a one up bar 35mm to swap out my 25mm carbon bar, I see they have 38s Burgtec then the new 50s but they do look alright on it the rise is probably just at that point whare it would look weird if any higher I like that! My new cube stereo fox 38s steerer is cut abit short aswell I feel I'm leaning just that bit to far forward on the shocks
I just put some 35mm OneUp bars on an Evil Wreckoning build, the oval shape makes the rise look more like a 25mm, DMR do the Defy35 stem which is great if your forks are cut too short as the stack is low and they have a 5mm rise.
Did you leave them at 800 or cut them.
I have just ordered the same handlebar from Alltricks ,cant wait to try it on my orbea rise
I left them at 800, the rise is a nice bike.
Did you keep this set up or did you go back to a lower rise?
I kept this setup, it’s far more comfortable for me.
First comment 😁 Looks great m8
I want to do the same with my new bike, I have a Giant Trance X Advance Pro at i find the stock bar way too low for me, How do you figure out how much rise you need? I feel 50mm might be too high
Hi, like a saddle the only way I've found is to try one unfortunately, from memory the Trance normally comes with a 20mm ish rise, I know a few who have gone to 35mm and been happy and others have gone 38mm or 40mm.
Burgtec brought out a 38mm rise just before the 50s I'm thinking of going with to tryout first, I have 25mm rise on my new ebike but yeah still a tad low for my liking being over that front wheel compressing the suspension to much the ebikes heavy enough for the sag competition and think it'll still have more than enough grip on the front with higher bar and shorter stem. Do they do 35mm thickness bars or just the standard? Something I need to check out
Hi what grips are they 😍
They are ODI Reflex www.odigrips.com/collections/mtb-grips-and-handlebars/products/reflex-lock-on-grips-135mm
did you use 31.8 or 35 mm stem ?
I use a 35mm x 35mm stem.
@@jedmtb thank you so much
Im 2m and i know this problem. The reach/stack proportion of the XL/XXL Bikes is just horrible. I run 48mm and 50mm on my 2 bikes. I love the title ah1.
Its also the same with chainstays. They dont grow proportionally in sizes. F.e. the Canyon strive. 535mm reach with 435mm chainstay 😂
The tile ah1 looks great I'm thinking of getting one.
Your so right about the chainstays, short ones are fun at slower speeds but get real sketchy the faster you go with the weight balance being all wrong.
These or the Title 50mm rise bars?
They both have a very similar ride feel so unless you want some slight extra compliance of the 31.8mm it really comes down to the price and looks you prefer.
@@jedmtb are you saying the title 31.8mm bars have more flex/comfort?
Thanks btw :)
@@lobyapatty Yes they are slightly more comfortable.
@@jedmtb great feedback thank you :)
Swear by these, stay high.
You’re just getting old and stiff. Stretch your hips. If you’re upright you won’t get glute activation.
