I love selling Eliza J dresses. I have a few listed in my closet now. sometimes they take awhile to sell. But when they do I’ve always made a great profit on them. I feel like the quality of them is really nice and they last. I actually sourced one once that had tags on it for $10. I flipped it for $75.
Also I wish I was making enough sales on my own to be like “yes I’ll sit around for 8 hours and share your items for free” 😂😂
I just don’t understand the share shows. I haven’t done my own live since November because there’s just too much competition with so many shows. I’d rather put my energy into sharing my closet and uploading listings.

I've been in many share shows, Nikki, & usually, the only person who actually gets sales is the host. Occasionally, someone buys a non-host item that is shared, but rarely. If you know a host who manages to sell many items they've shared from someone like me (who has no YT presence, for example), please let me know so I can share to their shows. Usually, sharing to someone else's show is only beneficial for getting more eyes on your closet. Just like running a silent show. Sales from either of those options are slim. Ask anyone. Just being real, hon.
Yup agree with everything you said... that's why I'm 99% sure I will never be a share show host LOL. I have too much of my own items to sell before I sell others
Yes! I have only ever been to one share show where she constantly gets sales for herself, AND others. It’s a lululemon show though, so people are in there to buy lululemon! She does a share show every Friday and I have personally sold 2 things in her show! Other than her, it’s just not even worth it AT ALL. I was the person who told Nikki, but only because I didn’t know if she knew it was open!!
Ugh our bins is like that too; they don’t have them together. I wish they would at least try! I always find the best shoe….but no match!

I love offline by Aerie, the leggings and their flowy shorts with the soft crisscross band, also their matching lounge wear sets!
I love selling their sports bras, easy to photograph, and they usually sell within a month.

I love share shows you have to find the right host and honestly most of the share shows host have higher views and a lot of people support their host by purchasing items they probably wouldn’t otherwise. A lady in my town has sold over 10k items and she does 12 hour share shows several times a week, I don’t think she would make that much if she didn’t have a following. Some of the shows can be dramatic and I’ve learned which ones to stay away from
I really dislike the share shows! I guess you can sprinkle in your own items. I'm realizing there are a lot of really bad live sellers out there - I was blocked from a show for saying someone wearing a baby mask and being questionable was bizarre. I also came across a show from a person laying in bed. Lol - PM needs to do some policing.

If it doesn't make me money, I'm not doing shared shows. Poshmark pinches off more than any other platform. So we have to stand on business.
Hey girl..the shared show thing? That just seems unrealistic to me to commit to something like that and not be compensated..our time is worth money. I'm a pretty new reseller and my life is very crazy right now so haven't done the live selling this as of yet but from what you are saying, that just seems like a hard no..😊. Thx for another great video. I literally have gone on you tube praying you put another video...😅
I never understood the people literally yelling at people to bid, I'm like calm down, we are strangers to each other lol. That's why I stopped watching Whatnot as much, it was too dramatic lol

There's no need to feel like you're being selfish. It is what it is, and if you have a bot, you're already sharing other people's items.
I'm one that doesn't see the attraction of live buying prob because I'm plus sized and sitting through a sale for hours to find out they have nothing in my size or mb one item doesn't sound like fun. Avg size is a 16. If PM wanted to grow, they could do things to attract avg women.
Check out curvyconsign on poshmark she only does plus size and she's hilarious.. Good point though. I'll try to be better at being more size inclusive for sure.

How do you decide what to live sell?
I'm honestly just trying to figure out what my customers like to buy honestly. It seems like they want to the mid tier- high end brands at a deal think (Rag & Bone, Revolve Brands, Loveshack Fancy, LV, ETC)
I am shocked skims sales. honestly isn’t something I would buy for myself. I am more into activewear , jeans & tee shirt !
They make Activewear and tshirts. It's becoming more than just a shapewear brand ✨️
