- Is it possible to beat Cuphead and the Cuphead DLC without touching the ground? I've made a few challenge videos in the past where I tried to beat a game without touching the ground, so when I saw that the Devilish Cheats mod has an infinite jump option for Cuphead: yeah I just had to do this! Devilish Cheats creator here, came to say that I loved the video as I always do. The lost bits videos I have rewatched a bunch of times so I am happy that you made good use of my mod. Also I'd like to add that with the God Mode cheat Rumor Honeybottoms is actually beatable in this challenge as aside from infinite health, it also removes the damage knockback, so you can stay in one line forever.

Hi fcmakes I just want to tell you for me there’s an issue for the devilish cheat it didn’t let me download it to import to Cuphead such as "where are you going to open this file?" And it annoys me so much it prevents me for open the file and pretty much impossible to put it on Cuphead.
one thing, i had to beat the game just so i can get the extra cheats

Airplane Battles: Devilish Cheats has a toggle airplane mode that lets you automatically fly in a plane on any stage or get rid of it, meaning that if you want, you can play against Ester without planes... The only problem is that your character (and hitbox) is a lot bigger.

I noticed that in the fight with chef saltbaker, in the last phase, those salt columns narrowed the player more and more. Just a little bit.

The rumor honeybottems fight is just the essence of you only dodge attacks when you try to get hit in video games when applyingthis challenge just for landing on the platforms.

Note: for the sus bugs, you could’ve used smoke dash to dash through the lasers. I know it gets rid of parrying, but there’s not much to parry in that boss anyways.
I wonder if Rumor Honeybottoms might be possible if you use the P. Sugar charm instead of the Astral Cookie. Since this allows you to parry in mid-air, maybe it could help with surviving the homing attacks.
Honeybottoms is beatable with some luck if you use P.sugar and invincibility. The orbs that track you down are actually parryable, so as long as you spam jump they dont hurt you. If she lands on top of you, invincibility actually has enough duration to keep you safe for the whole duration. Still, this has a bunch of rng with the triangle or her landing on you twice, but still technically makes it possible.
Aw man, he couldn't kill Sally's husband since you have to stand on platforms to do that.
Also where's all the chess pieces?
King's gambit is very easy to do with miss chalice and infinite jump. Cause of how she dash parries.

Also the pawns are low to the ground, they'd be a LITTLE challenging.

One tip for Mortimer Freeze is that in his last phase his hit box can’t damage you meaning you can spam a ton of ex shots on him if needed

Fun fact: if you hold r2 and l2 at the same time on the middle grave stone you can do the Angel and devil boss fight idk i think it works on ther platforms

Hi. Here's a quick tutorial to beat Grimm Matchstick becuz yes
(No its not an S-rank guide)
First you need either the astral cookie or the smoke Dash and the crackshot or chaser/roundabout
First play Phase 1 normally
At Phase 2, make sure to pay attention to sound ques for the fireballs jumping to avoid them
For Phase 3, just... _dont shoot_
For more of an explanation, just shoot while he uses his flamethrower attack
It takes long but its better than having to deal with a trillion projectiles

Fun fact! Instead of restarting your run and taking longer you could have just done the other run and gun (treetop trouble) via a secret path!
For the bee fight, could you use the invincibility super which would allow you to not take damage from the queen?

10:25 Ollie Bulb’s fight can be avoided entirely if you don’t attack him iirc but then you get the Horace Radiche sub-boss with Chauncey Chantenay (easy to avoid anyway).

Being honest roundabout is the best shot in my opinion cause you can double your damage by looking backwards then going up close and shooting
you can replay the secret boss over and over using the triggers of your controller
just press them for a couple of seconds and off you go
that also applies to the Mausoleums
Pretty sure you shouldn't have hit the onion, yes this unlocks the red carrot that has alot of hp, but I think skipping one of the bosses is better than having a small side character ON THE GROUND. Pretty sure this doesn't do anything with the hp.
But it adds how to the carrots as well making it not worth it

I bet someone will come up with a convoluted way to defeat Honeybottoms without touching the ground. After all, the triangle attack's projectiles are parriable, and maybe using Cuphead/Mugman with P Sugar instead of Ms. Chalice is a better idea.
It's possible to make it but it's super hard.
one funny thing about the snail boss, it can be defeated with 1-2 charge shot which can be hilarious as hell
14:45 is one of the common reasons I often died, I accidentally slipped between the platforms and died way too often 😂

Wait Cuphead uses floats / doubles to calculate the boss health?
Would Rumor Honeybottoms be possible with P. Sugar? The orbs are parryable, which would let them get off screen without hitting you. It may also help with the triangle attack, by protecting you from the small ones and letting you dodge the big one.
The orb will still home in on you though

I thought the same, alternatively, you could also fit in between other platforms if you have the spacing (also cups would be better for this anyways due to chalic's dash-parry)

I'm thinking maybe do rumor honeybottom with cuphead and the P. sugar since you can parry the ball that she fires at you in the second phase without having to move, it still has a bit of luck to it but i think doing that could help a lot with it

Cheating while also using a limititation that the cheat can't fully circumvent.
Regarding the Bee Boss you might be able to defeat her if you took advantage of The Smoke Dash Charm.
I haven't tested this out myself so I don't know if you can beat her with this alone but it's something to consider.
you can cheese the Ribby and croaks second phrase you can stay above ribby and the projectiles won’t hit you
Honeybottems is possible, you just have to jump above the screen before the platforms can load
This challenge should be called “beat the game as flappy bird”
funny how honeybottoms is the roadblock for both the no-jump AND no-ground challenges

There's a tracker weapon where it'll immediately lock on to the boss and hit them but it does less damage
I know crackshot is stronger, but I would've thought chaser to be the better pick regarding going off screen, since the constant trail of bullets would much more accurately show were you were.
