The One Thing, and Think and Grow Rich, two of the best books I’ve ever read. Great to see like-minded people follow the same advice.

TOTALLY helpful! I'm definitely going after this book, because multitasking is something that I just accepted as possible and being mildly bipolar that officially doesn't help. Laser sharp focus during my teenage years got me so much further than all of these "superman" theories have. This is deeply related to the neoliberal idea of everyone being an enterpreneur, another lie that makes accept less for more work provided and it is so increasingly taking up our whole day, meanwhile we're texting and doing all things at once. Great video!

    Ive read the book.
Although that book has a lot of fluff in it, the general idea is really inspiring and useful.

That is definitely something I have learned as a college student that multitasking can't help you complete things with your best foot forward something always have to be aside

I’d also like to suggest trying the Pomodoro Technique (look it up on google for a clear explanation), but basically it’s a simple time management system that breaks down your work into 4 rounds of 25 min. work intervals, with 5 min. short breaks in between to refresh yourself, and a 25-30 min. long break after each set of those 4 rounds. It’s super cool since it gives you that short-term goal and knowledge that you have this 25 min. session of full focus to go through to reach that 5 min. break and do whatever. Super helpful for procrastinators like myself. ✌️

This is a great principle but I feel obligated to note that computers literally can multitask because they can run computations on multiple processors at the same time. The "rapid switching" model is outdated as a general understanding of how computer multitasking works. Of course humans don't work that way though.

EXCEPT if you are preparing Thanksgiving dinner. While the turkey is baking 3 hours, you can get almost everything else done during that time.
