@@1973asdf there is when you change the BPM of the sample. Vinyl mode changes the pitch and the bpm, The other modes are time stretch which change pitch and bpm independently
@@bjamminsincebirth3494 standard mode man, im trying to understand how to record each instrument to a pattern, assign a bpm/quantize, and then put all together
@@bjamminsincebirth3494 man ive been trying since 2 hrs ago and i still cant figure out how to play flawless loops on pattern mode or how to use is properly
@@1973asdf that’s extremely hard in standard mode. I usually do that in the Pattern sequencer mode. When I say hard it’s because the timing has to almost be perfect to make it sound right.
@@bjamminsincebirth3494 it’s virtually impossible in standard mode but i cant “get” the pattern mode. now i just want to let my loop which has been assigned to a pad, to be recorded as a pattern and play over and over
Just the the video I was looking for.
I was having a meltdown trying to isolate parts.
Top video. 🤩👍
Update: So this does not work the same on the USB-C. It does work on the Line In and the Mic/Guitar in.
Love the puppy in the background. You never have to apologize for the puppy. 🐕 And yes, always do drums first. Timing is critical on everything.
Facts. Timing is Everything.
@@bjamminsincebirth3494 lots of good nuggets in this one.
Lol.. I'm still on this one and got a notification for your next one. You moving to fast. I'm old.
@@bryantwalley Well I’m making corrections once I learn something new. It’s definitely a process. 😂
@@bryantwalley Exactly I’m learning from my mistakes too. 😂
At 10:30 when you are trying to change the bpm you need to go into pitch/speed menu and manually change the bpm to 75
Remember this is 3 months ago but thank you for the idea.
do you think theres difference between the vynil mode or the normal one? i cant tell any sound differences neither the modes (ensemble etc)

appreciate the video. i was wondering if something like this was possible and it is.
Yeah it’s definitely possible and at the same time challenging but once you get a good grasp of it then you can truly appreciate the MK2.
thankl you so helpful
No problem! Ty for watching!
Hey man! Thanks a lot for the tips. Do you know how can a Pad stops when another one is pressed?
Usually you set mute groups. Shift + Pad 8. Press the pads you want in the mute group.
We want on sp 404og 👍
Well I don’t have one unfortunately and I probably wouldn’t go backwards unless it’s the 303.

whenever i resample any pad with my input (bass) i only get the sound i played and not the two together.
Are you recording in the Pattern mode or standard mode?
