My only real issue is that it changed one of my plug ins? Like the way it sounds? I had to go back in and fix a lot. It was related to one of the bass guitars if I'm not mistaken. So I'm going to work on a few songs first and then switched back to the upgrade. I also agree with the workflow and natural sounds. I think I gotta learn how the beta really works before I actually like it beyond the visuals. It took a minute for me to learn what we had before and I just got comfortable lol

It's not an fm synth, just a modal synth. And the way you turn off the grain is by adjusting the mix between impulse and grain on the bottom right, and you turn off the reverb by setting the mix to dry in the space page.

Rename on track view at the very top, tap and hold name of whatever track you are on.

Also in preferences you can set record arm to multi so no need to hold shift

Keyboard Control - External Keyboard Routing - Select Keyboard sends midi here. that should trigger your daw no matter what page you're on

You have to arm record both tracks. Track view. Hold shift to arm multiple tracks and in preferences - sequencer change record arm to multi

Yeah it's a shame about the latency thing , it's definitely need of some tweaking from akai , because it has lots of great potential 👍 and I'm yet to fully discover the looper , I have dabbled with it a lil bit but nor yet used it properly, I know looper can be amazing super live creative vibes , there's a uk guy called beardy man who uses looper , but yeah man great video once again and very helpful for the Akai community, I hope Akai will be watching and taking notes 📝 aswell

It's a great change, on the track mutes , sequences can remember the mutes, so 10 sequences each with mutes, song is built quick , you could never do it that quick in the arranger, but moving that to the arranger gives you power to really fine tune things. That's what people mean when they say mutes are missing but Akai will make sure that comes back without a doubt that is one of the features people love.

Definitely great working in the arranger. Appears at present you can only delete at the bar level not lower for that you have to go into the grid. Can you cut and paste and or move in arranger view yet ?
