Just binged my way through the episodes of this podcast after having found it a few weeks ago. I really appreciate how you tie the political and technological context into the more immediate events in the theatre. Looking forward to the next episodes!

If I can allow myself to nickpick, german 88 flak didnt use prowimity fuze, as the tech never reached the front on their side, they used time fuze, and made extensive research on sound/radar/elecrostatic triggering ones but it was never on an opperational scale. Amazing vid nonetheless keep up the good work!!

Great episode! I imagine the hurry to equip the fleet with chaff and rwr might have been crazy

The fan song radar from the volhov line had 5 antennas: wide beam azimuth, wide beam elevation, narrow beam azimuth, narrow beam elevation and missile command uplink and it required 3 operators to manually track the target in azimuth, elevation and range

The dvina line only had 3 antennas: wide beam azimuth, wide beam elevation and missile command uplink

The SA-2/S-75 did not have semi active guidance. Although you described the guidance principle correctly, it is called command guidance

Well, I don't see it as my place to judge the memories of pilots who were in harms way and watch their friends fall in combat. But, just because they feel a certain way about the politics of the time doesn't mean I agree with their perspective. And I honestly don't. But I wasn't there and they were so I try to tread carefully.
