- RESETTING sharp 70 inch TV OUT OF STORE DEMO MODE -
this works for some sharp t.v.s service mode-
Hold VOLUME UP and CHANNEL UP buttons in while plugging set into power.
TV comes up in service mode.
Press CHAN + or CHAN - to select an adjustment that you want to change
Press VOL+ or VOL- to adjust - Jak na to + styl

I have Sharp 43" Roku Smart LED TV. Worst experience. Will never buy Sharp again....Just more than 1 year and Roku does not connect to Internet and ON/OFF by itself while watching. Never.....

If need hard reset this are the step 1. Unpug your set2. While holding in vol down and input buttons on youe set, plug unit back in. I called before you gave this message (thx for responding so fast btw). They said that if the TV was in 'Audio only' mode, I would still be able to see the menu/input display when I hit the button. I can tell the backlight is working, because the screen is lit, even though it's black. The TV is out of warranty and I don't want to pay $300 for them to tell me something like a system board is loose like last time with my friend's TV. What I really need is a manufacturer's flowchart. I have a 40' Sharp Aquos 3-d tv and I keep having a problem with the pop up TV description banner. The banner pops up every so often and have to continuously keep pressing exit to clear it. Would just like it to stop but can't figure out how. Anyone know what to do here to resolve this small issue? Other than that I'm very pleased with this TV.

Paul - all my hdmi inputs on LC-70EQ10U quit working.cable box and firestick were working fine. tried the three levels of reset, also do not work. will not connect to wifi now, was connected in past.

No, that is a factory rest. A factory rest would revert the tv to the initial set up screen that pops up when you first turn the tv on. All that did was erase the app's user data.

What if you only have the Directv TV remote and all the buttons on the actual TV are disabled? It's impossible to access any menu on the TV. How can I reset it if that's the case?

That's really interesting.... our 70" SHARP Aquos has the controls on the opposite side of the TV.... But my issue is that once everything resets, the TV won't automatically acquire the IP address info.

I have a Sharp Aquos LC70C7500U. I had no power so I replaced the power supply. Now I am receiving Error code that has 2 short blinks and then 5 fast blinks. I downloaded the Service Manual which indicates this to be "DET_PNL12V Failure (L). Panel power is not applied." Not sure if this indicates a failed power supply or a T-Con board or perhaps the main board. Will you please provide guidance?

Drew Splawn it can be loose cable or loose wire, check 12v wire and ground wires, check hair-line cracks in solder joints too. see my TV repair playlist for more info.

I also tried [CH_DOWN] and [VOL_UP] on TV, plug in the AC power cord while holding both buttons in and the tv stayed on but no picture. I put in a cd in my blueray player and I get sound but no picture. No picture on any of the inputs. I then tried shining a light on the screen, with the room dark-- still I do not see a picture. The wireless transmission stopped working 2 months after we bought it! We then got in to be wired and it was working for a while. NOW IT DIDNT WANT TO CONNECT TO WIFI EVEN THOUGH IT WAS WIRED. I was able to reset the TV and now the internet works fine. I wish I had read reviews on this TV before wasting hundreds of dollars on a 60" Sharp TV. Never purchasing the brand Sharp in TV's!
