How to Factory Reset Sharp TV to Restore to Factory Settings

I will show you how to factory reset your Sharp TV in case you are having problems or simply want it to be restored to the factory settings. I will even show you how to soft reset it in case you don't want to erase everything. Don't forget to comment if you have a better trick.

Mine is stuck on initialising and unresponsive to the power button and I don't have a remote. Also the sharp logo comes on upside down when I power on from the mains but the initialization screen is the right way up.. Any ideas?

Sharp should provide their valued customers with a spare set of the correct LEDS with each new TV. I find functional obsolescence quite annoying. It should not be allowed.

Hold a bright flashlight up to it. You can kind of see and walk thru the prompts slowly that way. Just found out it Means your display lights are broken. Mine was black but heard clicks so did the flashlight and reset so I can leave at the curb without someone having my apps & info I had downloaded on it. good luck
