    Again, great explanation of problem and very clear instruction on solution. I have been taught the "pump" drill, but think its never been taught properly until now. "Choke down on the club, and point the club grip towards the target". Again, taking the lesson one step or two further for a better drill. Today I played my best round ever, and just after a week of watching your videos. Thank you!

    hi, I am casting exactly the same way that Aimee has explained. I am lifting my right heel to avoid hitting on the ground on the right side as well. I hope i can get the hang of the drill to fix my casting problem :) Thank you Aimee ! from Edward ( Singapore )

    Good tips. I like point down to the ground and then to the target before the release. I will work on that. Thanks

    another perfect lesson. my last 3 games were following your last lesson and i felt that the pain in my arm and shoulder are gone. but how do i do the lagging constantly?

    Great drill! This was a game changer for me, providing me more consistency. Thanks for warning about the shots going to the right at first or I would have given up after 4 or 5 shots. I stuck with it and eventually my brain and arms started to work together and I started hitting the ball further and straighter. I have only tried it out on the range. Can't wait to try it out on the course. Thank you so much!

    Left handed here, strictly speaking on the hinge, all things correct(grip, form, set up, heads down, relaxed). Are you turning your wrist at your hinge? Or in other words do I keep my club head open the whole time. I recall a video where you reference a flat or perpendicular clock and where the heel of the club should be pointing in reference to the back swing. You alternate clock example using parallel v perpendicular plane, Should I assume your default is golf plane. It looks like you're keeping the club head face open the whole time on your Back swingt. And follow through, do you ever turn your wrist over?

    Hi Aimee. Thanks for your great video.
    Casting (and Laging) is one of my main fault, and I'll try to apply your advices. However I've problem with your right foot. According my Pro, the right foot have to stay on the foor up to the ball impact. It's not really what you do. What's your point of view about right foot. Thanks in advance

      @GolfWithAimee  Před 7 lety +1

      Hi Erick, I actually have a lesson on the right foot coming soon. If you tend to lift the right heel too soon, I would suggest you try keeping the right foot down through impact until you get rid of that habit. But once you can control the right heel, you should train your lower body to do the proper movements.

    ...in the downswing do you rotate your left wrist slightly clockwise and come into impact with a bowed (left) wrist ..??

    Is the hinge timing different with the driver?

  • @wgb8210
    @wgb8210 Před 5 lety +1

    Great video, except it seems to me that a lot of very good players prefer hinging their wrists late, and then, because their hands are so relaxed, this allows their hinge to actually increase, if only very briefly, as their hands begin to fall. I think an early hinge will often produce an early unhinging. But you disagree?
