Is OBDELEVEN able to code cruise control in a MK5 Golf if I install the appropriate stalk?

Mk5 needs an extra wire added, that runs between the steering wheel and BCM....yes obdeleven can code it when the wire is in place

Hey man, I don't have option Steering Wheel Column (16) for my T-cross 2020. Is it still neccessary? With only bit 5 in the engine. I get an exclamation mark at the dashboard for the ccs.

T-cross 2020 will have different modules to Golf 2010. Unfortunately, I can't help. There are a few obdeleven groups on Facebook that should be able to help

I have a T-cross with the same steering column showing the cruise control buttons.

Is this working for polo 6R 2015?? I adjusted yesterday something with obdeleven that it response like Audi and now i dont have cruise control anymore

Should work on the polo yes....word if warning, always do a backup file before doing any customisation/coding, so you can go back to how it was if things go wrong 😉

@dschellenberg3995 All dealers are clueless....I called vw to find out where my Bluetooth module was...3 different dealerships. 1st said under steering wheel, 2nd behind glove box and 3rd said if it wasn't under drivers seat you don't have Bluetooth....I found it in the armrest

@@peterevans5351 I haven't tried service reset, I would have thought it would just over ride the credits and reset it....I use a subscription free version of carista for service light. To be honest I use carista for most of my diagnostic and customisation. I only got obdeleven to code my cruise control....here is my video for subscription free carista

Obdeleven works with all VAG cars, so yes it should activate CC

great video but a bit beyond me, i own a caddy maxi life and would love to fit cruise, i think i only need to buy the cruise stalk as the right hand one is the mfd one and controls the phone and dash etc. If i buy the stalk would you fit and code it for a price acceptable to yourself ? I think you live local to me. Or if this is not your thing, would you know someone local who would ? many thanks

Thank you for reaching out.....1 I'm not insured against other people's vehicles, 2 if your are close to me then no point adding CC, I have probably only used it 3 times since this video was uploaded....its less fuel efficient.
If you do want to fit CC then contact Aaron Murray in Castlewellan, he us an independent VW specialist.....what is your location?

Yes it can. There are a few issues that can stop CC from working. 90% of the time is to do with a bad wheel speed sensor.

Do you mean the indicators? You can do it with VCDS so must be a ble to do it with OBDELEVEN....I use carista for that as I know how to do it with carista. You go into exterior lights and change the brightness % from 0 to 30% then save

I have thought about it, want to get my remap sorted on my Cabriolet before I spend any more money on my 1.6....plus the clutch release bearing is going bad on the 1.6 so that's gonna cost me a good bit to get sorted 😭

Part of the reason I don't use obd11 all that much....most of the app is in German, so have to hold a phone with camera translation app to read it all 🤷
