Jacob Fowler is a Top-3 Finalist for the 2024 Richter Award this year. It was just announced. I watched him play and honestly Jacob is got that 'special' something. I think he is going to be elite

2023 was a super duper draft for the canandians, I was really happy they drafted my boy FLorian Xhekay...ALmost all the players canadians drafted that year seem like Hall of Famers 👍

Last season Volokhin was backup to a goalie younger than himself, Varagin, I think. Varagin was draft😅ed ahead of Volokhin, by Philadelphia, and was promoted to the VHL ahead of Volokhin. I don't think the Habs prospect is that highly regarded in Russia, compared to others of his age.

At the show of the habs draft they even mention that this russian was more talented than Fowler

Every goalie in the MHL has insane save%.
I still think the future is Fowler. The guy keeps beating expectations. Undrafted in junior; still works himself into the USHL and becomes the best goalie in the league. Goes to Boston and instantly is one of the top NCAA goalies.

Nobody’s talking about? Everybody’s talking about him . When he got drafted i pointed out how he had a very high save percentage at every levels he played and his stats so far are similar to shesterskin “junior” career in term of very high save%. I said that this guy was the habs prospect months ago and people were laughing🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂
A lot of you guys are overrating a lot of Montreal prospects and ignoring the ones you don’t see. To me these are the top 3 habs prospects in no particular order
Mailloux, engstrom ,Volo.

Volokhin stats are super inflated in the MHL look at how many goalies have a save% above .920
Still a decent prospect but let's wait until he's in a better league before getting too excited.
IDC one iota about goalies good teams make goalies look good and vise versa.Every single goalie now a days plays identical the only difference is some get lucky top get on better teams than others.
So i checked the highlights of his last game/loss as I expected just another goalei who slides around on his knees al the time,nothing to see here.
You should consider watching Fowler some day.

Volohkin couldn't be as bad as Montenbault, hopefully these goalie prospects can move up soon
Fowler unfortunately is under par in height for a NHL goalie. Dominating goalies now are more than 6 feet. Too many good shooters in the NHL now-a-days.
Fowler is 6'2... I'm no scientist but I believe thats above 6 feet
should look up stats before throwing random stats budd
