Lindstrom 6’4”, 216 lbs, basically averaged a goal per game last season, would be an amazing addition to the Habs prospect pool 💪🏼
WHL is mens league as far as physicality goes. Any body that can score their is more likely to make it to the big show.
And equally important, Cayden is intelligent, and lives hockey. He has said he wants to be a Hab, so the only thing now is to see if he goes earlier.
Well, Habs fans if Demidov or Linstrom is who you are looking for they might not be available at fifth... BUT, the Ducks did trade away one of their top defensive prospects in Drysdale to get Cutter Gauthier. Anaheim could use another top Blueliner prospect. Maybe trade for the Ducks third pick because there will be more than a few high end D talent available at the fifth spot. Obviously, it would cost a little bit to trade places but you guys have a good amount of picks and prospects to make it happen and guarantee either Demidov or Lindstrom. What do you think it would cost the Habs to move up to the third overall spot.
If they think demidov is really going to be great then make a trade for him give two Frist for him go HABS
If Lindstrom, or Demidov are all taken trade the 5th pick to Stl for Dvorsky, and the blues 16th pick. Use that pick to grab another solid prospect (or chance of). Maybe throw in a Harris or a Struble. Dvorsky is pretty much guaranteed to be a 2nd line 2way Center or better.
As a Habs fan and Med Hat Tigers fan I really want Lindstrom
ive really been enjoying your recent draft videos
I pray that he moves up in the draft to 2nd or 3rd to get Demidov depending what Chicago does if they want Levshunov you trade up to grab Demidov and you run. I would give a lot to move up. Including the 5th OA and a good D prospect
my opinion is unpopular, but after watching the U18 worlds, I would love to see cole eiserman on the left wing of the 2nd line. He’s like a 2nd caufield and seems like a very hard working player
Either Lindstrom or Igilina would be a good pickup
Bedard and Demidov will be insane! I wish my Habs could trade up and grab him somehow but if that is impossible let’s hope Lindstrom is available at 5!
Chicago wont draft demidov
@@warriorcobra. how do you know did you ask a magic 8 ball?
To have two small
Guys sub 6’ in your top line would be insane. Dont know if he’s right on saying they won’t take him, but they shouldn’t.
@@wal-kid4522 1. They already have bedard, moore and nazar as small offensive forwards
2. They lack big forwards
3. They lack defensive prospects
Take lindstrom at 6'4 216 and growing he can crush guys like demidov and bedard
Nice vid
Lindstrom is the guy unless Columbus takes him.
Lindstrom or demidov.. cossing my fingers..
It looks like it should be Lindstrom, however if he is not available then go for Levshunov. If Demidov, Lindstrom and Levshunov are all taken by #5, then ??? Not sure who to go for, but i wouldnt be angry if we picked up Eiserman, or Catton. Hopefully the Habs know what they are doing.
Had we picked an Elite forward last season we wouldnt be in this position this season. Makes me wonder what the organization was thinking last summer. We could easily have a solid Dman in this draft, similar to Reinbacher caliber (maybe).
We shall see in 5yrs how this all plays out.
If Mitchkov comes in to the NHL in 2 seasons and becomes a superstar 🤨
I think they’ll take lindstrom, but i’d love for them to fibd a way to get iginla
Worst case scenario for the Habs is Celebrini, Demidov, Lindstrom, and Levshunov are taken in the top 4. I think it's a clear top 4 and then 5 is where it gets murky. the Habs are in a spot to pick a great player, but it won't be an obvious pick like the top 4 are.
Elite protests has Tij at 6, Sportsnet has him 5 now, Dobber has him 8 now, Smaht 9 and Bob 10th. He’s going top 10 for sure.
Habs would do great if they traded 5th pick + ( 1 d man + Harris ) for a real top 4 established 23-26 year old forward. This is my best guess.
I guess we’ll find out when the draft day comes eh.
lidstrom in 5 and trade for sen 7 pick for ignila
at 27, with the jets pick, habs should try and pick up Parascak, guy is so good at everything but skating, and at 27 he'd be a massive steal
Too bad skating is 1 of the most important things in hockey. What bozo makes a comment like this? 🤡
I want demidov catton or lyndstrom
Habs already have 2 shrimps in the top 6. Habs don't need another . ie Catton ... Demidov
Dude i want Iginla, the kid got super solid stats. Imagine having Martin Saint-Louis and Jerome Iginla around the younsters, unreal.
I did not think of that good point go HABS
Honestly wanted us to pick 8-9th so we would pick him but I don’t think we will now 😢
Jerome works for flames. He won't be around habs players lol
Lindstrom slafs dach ... yeah we are far from Cammalleri Gionta gomez.... the habs are gonna be playoff built
Hey you take that back ! Those guys beat the Caps and Pens lol
if only HALAK Had players when he was in his prime
I hope they take linndstrom
Lindstrom 🙌🤞🤞🤞🤞
If you go for need, lindstrom.
My best bet is either Lindstrom, Eiserman and or Konsta.
They need a forward not a defensemen. They have so much D. That it’s best to draft a Forward or a Goalie.
The Russians may not be a good option for Hughes as he missed out on Mitchkov. Maybe he can change his mind if Demidov is available.
I hope Hughes picks a good decision.
Seriously, I cannot handle Chicago getting Demidov after bedard
Chicago will pick a D-man.... They already have 1 smurf center ... Two surfs in the top 6 is suicidal.
IF Demidov or Lindstrom fall in our lap, either one would be automatic... after that it get's tricky...
Catton, the rising Iginla, or even the best remaining RD would be my next 3 if both Demidov and Lindstrom are gone before 5... I don't want Eiserman and once Bob does his final ranking Eiserman will be way down on his board too...
But Lindstrom is the one I think will be there and I fully expect us to grab him at 5....
If I was picking for the Canadians at no. 5, I'd say, don't choose a Russian player. If you really want a Russian player, use their other first round pick to get a Russian player. They can do it by trading that fist round pick and other draft picks to move up.
For me i would go with cole because he can score goals and hes 6ft or Lindstrom
As a habs fan I’m fine with whoever they take at 5, but I would like to see them trade up again in the first round and take a swing at Cole eiserman
If Montreal does not take Iginla, Calgary will.
I want Reinbacher Trade for a Forward, and Draft Zayne Parekh
That would be a great alternative…only if we are assured to get a top line forward ….
Which team would be likely to give us that ?
Why do you want smurf Parekh.... Watch the playoffs and see how there are very very very few small defensemen. 6-0 is small ...
Cole will have a great AHL career
Sliayev will go as number 2.
First Line not changing in MTL
Your talking players 2-3 years away
Cayden is Not Slaf
Demidov will be gone to the Ducks. And Lindstrom will be going to Columbus. So Canadians will be taking a defenseman
Lets hope its 6-7 / 210 pounds Silayev .... He is still growing .... The next Zdeno Charra,
What a laughable take that is!
Habs will draft yet another d-man.....lol
But the D men here are too pairing guys. If they do, it means a trade package is in place for a top forward (I’m not mad)
Habs would do great if they traded 5th pick + ( 1 d man + Harris ) for a real top 4 established forward. This is my best guess.
Wouldnt mind anyone of the top 4 D-men.Lots of trade bait.
@@randyterhorst1758 Silayev or Bium will be first pairing monsters. I’d seriously pick them if I got the chance.
This is so frustrating to me: Last year's draft was loaded with quality forwards, not to mention Mitchkov.. and the Habs went out to draft a d-man (rated 15th). Now this year's draft is loaded with future superstar d-Men and the Habs decide it is time to draft a forward. Is it me or the Habs recruiters are incredibly stupid? If the Habs had picked a forward last year, we would have the luxury of picking an amazing d-man this year, much better than Reinbacker. This sucks big time.
Demidov Will not go in top 5 picks. To many political issues
